@Park bantam@Park bantam What do you think the objective was for Stuart at the start of this season?
If it was promotion then they certainly didn’t back him with a squad capable of achieving it.
If it was simply to survive then why did they sack him. We were never gonna go down once injured players were back fit.

I remember after losing at Salford and Oldham thinking where the next point was coming from. He had the choice and the budget to bring other players in he chose not to

Without doubt T&S did a great job getting us safe, irrelevant of who was there before they achieved what they were asked to do, what many fans seem to question is after getting us safe there was a great chance (because they had worked wonders with those players) that we could have got into a play off place, unfortunately when the pressure was off as they had achieved their goal they seemed to run out of idea's and were unable to make that step up and that is my concern going forward.
I can understand their take that there will be better players brought in during the closed season who will give us other options but I didn't personally think they had enough faith in themselves and the players at their disposal to try different systems/formations, time will tell next season has to be a successful season I'm sure you'd agree.

Selfish bugger, just because it's nearer to Kalamata than Odsal.

You haven't been in that area recently, or was it just a quick curry at Mumtaz ;).

It's certainly big enough for a descent sized stadium if they took the gym and the old cricket area, sadly I think it's wishful thinking mate.

All down to poor backing from BDMC. Though wasn't the last attempt to get the European City Of Culture ?, which is a whole different ball game. The culture in Bradford is exactly what this whole thing (UK City Of Culture) was aimed at, Jeez if Hull and Coventry can make a success of it there is no reason why Bradford couldn't apart from the backward thinking Council who talk the City down and ruin every ambitious plan to improve the city.

We really need to take our hats off to the guy behind the Odeon plan because lesser mortals would have walked away, if that were in Leeds the council would be throwing money at him to finish.

The competition for this is ridiculous, two of them aren't even Cities, but we are still making a hash of it. I guarantee you if we had a Conservative Council then John Pennington would have been all over this and we would have romped it.

This is exactly what concerns me Bronco. In his post match interview on Saturday, Connor spoke about being hungry for success but for me, that hasn't been evidenced this season. When you achieve what he and Mark did and an opportunity then opens up in front of you to truly exceed expectations, you don't just shut up shop and stick with your original remit if you are truly hungry for success. No, you grab that golden opportunity by the short and curlies and throw everything you've got at it. If we truly want success at this football club, we need winners, never give uppers, believers, willing to take a chancers, not overly cautious, play it safers, which unfortunately, is what it feels like we've had for the past couple of months. Carry that attitude forward into next season and it will mean only one thing. We won't be going up.

Cant impinge on the Cricket area though. Yorkshire seconds play there and there are plans to bring the odd county match back at some point.

Southampton were in league one in 2009. And play at the St Mary’s Stadium.

Well at least there’s a graveyard next to it for all the strikers we kill at this club.

I believe @Bantam-in-Greece@Bantam-in-Greece means the old Park Avenue ground, rather than Horsfall Playing Fields just off Halifax Road.

That area is worse than Manningham by a country mile. I would never attend a city game in that shit hole
