The few times we've seen Nevers with a 10/15 minute cameo here and there he's been very direct but after 10 minutes tonight he offered little, but we didn't lose the game because of any individual as a team we should have done far better with the chances we created.

Cook has been dreadful the last two games. Looks absolutely knackered. And without him playing well we're pretty toothless. The apparent lack of urgency tonight is very hard to understand. Couldn't have been a worse night with other results.
But there will be more twists and turns before the end of the season.

It's not tight anymore after tonight. We are closer to 8th now.

didn't see their keeper have to decent save to make tbh. It was crap lots of huff and puff but lost their heads , cook rubbish, and chappy and haliday were a big miss.

Hopefully can get a couple of wins to get us in the playoffs now.

Played well first half. Didn't take our chances. It wasnt the fact that we had Hendrie at right back or that we had Nevers on the wing. Its the fact that we sat back an gave Swindon Hope. If Cook is firing on all cylinders, then we can probably play on the counter, but he looked knackered tonight after successive games against Sutton an Rochdale. Autos aren't entirely out of sight, there is still plenty to play for. We just have to win our next 3 games an Hope to god that Leyton Orient are on the beach, come final day

All in all, a shit night, but it was bound to happen. Lets see what happens on Saturday

Hopefully the Chapman and Halliday injuries aren't too bad. Hendrie certainly doesn't offer the forward play Halliday has to offer. If Chapman is out, I don't fancy Nevers to fill those shoes. Pereira and Costelloe have had chances, neither shown enough. Think maybe Derbyshire gets the start?

Hard not to cone out this feeling like its done. Hopefully there's enough professional heads in the dressing room to keep the spirits high for the play offs.

Agree, not on any individual. I'd actually put it on Hughes for being far too cautious in how he set us up. We had to go for it tonight and didn't.

For the first 60mins he consistently won the ball either in 50-50 or back from opposition. The next mostly was then past a player or bring someone else in to an attacking position. That’s the way I saw it - you can have your own opinion

Dont agree. I thought we were very much on the front foot in the 1st half but we just didnt take our chances. Lost our way in the 2nd half and the substitutions weakened us. Chapman has his critics but he'll be a massive miss if that injury is as bad as it looked

Agree cook looks either knackered or carrying an injury.

They'll be full of confidence after beating Orient tonight and we could well be without a couple of key players. I'm not sure Saturday is going to be an enjoyable day.

It was awful to watch. I don’t think we had control of the game for the majority of the night. The second half was particularly poor. Nobody seemed to know what we were doing. Lashing the ball up to Cook was not the answer. We needed to keep the momentum going to make the auto’s, that is going to be a real stretch. Playoffs maybe, but don’t fancy us in that. Our team do not perform well under pressure, as we can all see.

We had get plenty of chances, but unfortunately none of them went in. I thought we had a pen, but Drysdale thought otherwise.

I wasn't concerned apart from our wasteful shooting first half but for some reason we never lifted our game second half this game was there for the taking and unfortunately once again we were let down, but hay we'll beat Gillingham and a couple of results might go for us and it will be a matter of "if only", I posted I thought a single goal would decide the outcome unfortunately Swindon got it.

Amazes m that the same team that has done really well for a long while now are suddenly crap on the back of one bad performance :) my god you would have been over the moon to be in this position after the Barrow loss ......... just fooking calm down before the mass meltdowns arrive ............... last thing they need on Saturday is a load of doom merchants arriving on mass praying they lose just to roll on here at 5pm and say “ I told you so “
