Adams was right, the club is rotten.

The issue is the fans are never given anything to get behind. The club pin their hopes on the man in the dugout. There's no strategic and long term direction. So when it does start going belly up the buck stops with the manager.

When we dropped into L2 five years ago it was the time - given the supposed financial mess Rahic left us in - to put that strategy and planning in place. But instead we rolled the dice and pinned our hopes on Bowyer because he'd got Blackpool up first time of asking in rubbish circumstances.

Unfortunately we can’t divorce our chosen team.

I'd Definitely add Halliday to that list. In fact, i'd have him as number one to retain. Difficult to remember a game that he's played where he's under achieved.

They can't play if they aren't fit! And they never are!

Yes definitely good enough to retain without doubt, but as I mentioned elsewhere somewhere in L2 you just need to surround your good players with solid capable players and I have Halliday more in the solid capable bracket.

Consistent 7/10 every week....apart from away at Carlisle when he had a shocker.
Overall, definitely worth a new deal though.

Can't believe Okie Koki started the season ahead of him.

I honestly don't know on paper this squad should be performing better and have us higher in the league than we are, but only them and the football backroom staff know why we aren't.
I won't give up on our team but its getting more and more difficult to justify where we are, good player budget, no worries with regards incoming finances, 17,000 average home gates its something dozens of teams would give their right arm for but for some reason its not working and its not a matter of getting Rupp out IMO, do players freeze when they have to run out to those sort of attendances.
If ever Ryan needed to come up with a good appointment the next one has to be it.

Exactly so he definitely fits the requirement to fill in a slot around the really good players.

Done this a million times now it seems.

Look. Sparks and Rupp plus others have had their time here and should do the right thing for the club and move on.

I continually hear or read about crowds of 17000 and yet wonder how many spectators are actually in Valley Parade ? Despite all the noise about the size of the attendance v Wrexham there were lots of empty seats visible on the highlights film.

The right thing for Ryan to do is quit mate!

Do you honestly trust him to make the right decision? Really?

Could it be that we count the season ticket holders even if they’re not there? Who knows.

The more i think about this , the more i believe the players really think they are too good for this division. Week after week they make comments around this is Bradford City, we are massive , we should be higher up. You have to earn being higher up
Fight fort the right to be promoted , not get out fought by teams that have not won since Noah floated the ark.
We are league 2 and basically crap, its their job to make it better. In the words of Roy Keane Do your job.

I'm not sure it's that I think we are missing the key ingredients for good lower sides and that's a few match winners who can turn a game or will happily receive the ball when in tight areas and deal with it positively and not sh1t themselves and just go backwards.

The problem is that they appear to have told Sparks that and he's fallen for it hook, line and sinker going by his recent comments in the Athletic article, and is further evidence that he shouldn't be making football decisions.
