TBF that winger was very tricky and had bags of pace. Most full backs would have had trouble marking him.
There was one point in the first half when at least 4 city players tried to stop him but couldnt.

Agreed. He was the best player on the pitch IMO.

I still think he could be a match winner. But you might be right

I agree about Wood however I thought overall Chicksen did well against a very good and super Quick winger

And a few others as well, he looked a confident lad who always wanted the ball, maybe someone should have given him a tasty welcome to Valley Parade, he looked suspect when he was rolling about like he'd broken his leg on the Midland Road side until he saw the ref was not impressed and soon got up.

We LOST @Park bantam@Park bantam , Portsmouth could have ( if required ) gone up 2 or 3 gears , i was on North parade yesterday just like being an away fan . Not only have the idiots in charge at VP destroyed our club they have managed to destroy the pre match atmosphere also . When we get relegated hope the happy clappers who want a meaningful dialogue with Laurel and Hardy realise this club could fold at the end of next season . We will have less than 9k ST's next year barely enough income to furnish the ground rent never mind a player budget , we are in a spiral of decline , yet you @Park bantam@Park bantam still think we are wrong to challenge the actions of the Carpet-baggers that have tenure at VP .

No they couldn’t and there is Zero support for the way you want to bring the owners down. Were you part of the north parade 2..There is strength in numbers. And yes despite the result and I know what a predicament we are in we played well for the most part yesterday

No i wasen't part of the NP 2 , i dont give 2 *hits about the board , what i do care about is after 54 seasons as a supporter of this club i am not prepared to sit in my Kop seat and clap like a fecking penguin at the garbage on and off the pitch . You have your minority opinion , i have mine , if you thought this season was bad what will your opinion be when we slide into the conference , and before you say anything if we retain this shower on and off the pitch that is exactly what will happen .

The home support was really good considering where we are and the level of our performance was one of our best in a thoroughly dismal season of performances. Pompey did n’t play their best but they have some really good players and will be up there in the mix. Their main CB was excellent. Although we did play quite well, we still got beat and we did n’t score a goal. Our expectation level is rock bottom. One good performance against one of the best sides in the league will mean nothing if we lose the next 2 games. Time is running out. We won’t get out of this mess with what we have. If we don’t receive news this week that we are bringing someone in to run the club, yesterday’s 10k attendance will be big compared to the Oxford attendance.

It was generally a better performance that the crowd should be encouraging but we still have the same defensive shambles at times. Evans ran in unmarked from the right wing as Chicksen and Wright ignored him. He ran into the space that Akpan and Ball vacated as they both ran to be spare men at the front post. As usual, most people were ball-watching instead of marking up properly. I know we are not technically the most gifted but basic defending 1.0 has been getting ignored all season. When is it going to get sorted?

Do you think that was because it would have been counter productive in our efforts to equalise?

I assume you were chanting by yourself?

Support the players on the pitch, they need it more than any other team in Bradford City's 115 year history.

Try to oust the regime, they are responsible for destroying all the good work on and off the pitch, tearing our fanbase apart, eliminating any sense of connection between fans and the players.

Support the team, denounce the regime.

Agree with the OP regarding the crowd sticking with the players. That said, I think Portsmouth got the benefit of switching sides at kick off because it was quiet at points in the second half.

I haven't experienced many moments at VP like when Akpan missed that chance. The players and supporters all knew how big a moment in the season that could have been. Everyone looking completely broken which in an odd way was a good thing because it showed that the players care.

Wheels are in motion regarding the new structure at VP, it will be announced within the next two week that Rahic will no longer be at the club.
I'm intrigued to how it will be and who'll be at the helm.

The lack of action, the length of absence whether it is school holidays or not, and the lack words tells me that there are new plans going on about who takes over running the club. I cannot see Rahic coming back without an announcement of major change, even if it takes a couple of weeks to bring someone in. Against that argument is the man’s ego. On balance I still think an announcement is coming.
