Definitely robbed today, but still a bit disappointed with energy and fitness levels not up to recent standards, but we certainly weren't bad today, should have had a point..

 

Went well over the line before the goalie dragged it back. An absolute disgrace!

Sounds odd following a defeat but I think it could have been boosted by that performance and ad to it the sense of injustice they'll be feeling.

 

Also doesn't help that goalie's gloves are same colour as the ball & it looks like they are between the line and the ball. ( And even then it's still over).
Unfortunately, we've just got to suck it up!!

 

His left knee is on the line and he's facing into the goal, the ball itself is way over the line, it was obvious that it was in without the need for replays.

I thought Caddis had an excellent game, especially first half.

 

There's an interview on Pulse Sport through audioboom. David Hopkin thought the match was too big for that referee.

 

Payne must have had a merrier christmas than the rest of the squad, he was well below par today. Might have been the difference (bar the terrible reffing decisions)

Caddis just been interviewed on radio Leeds. Proper bloody understated Scotsman. I've enjoyed watching the guy play but don't let him do interviews. "Aye, we did ok", "Aye, the lads tried", "Aye, video replays could be helpful". FFS!! He has no opinion on anything!!

To be fair, one thing he did say is the team solidarity was great and they didn't really create any clear cut chances which is true.

We started this mini run and then bumped into Luton but managed to put it behind us, let's hope we can do the same with Sunderland. Onwards and upwards lads

But what’s this about Sky Sports News saying it wasn’t over?

To me the key part is when Johnny Mac’s momentum takes him into the goal, and he knees the ball back into his midriff before edging back out again.

It’s clearly a goal for me, I said it at the time and I didn’t need a reply. Linemen should’ve seen it, that’s his job.

 

Just saw on Twitter that the linesman in question was Mark Dwyer of West Riding FA. How he couldn’t see that is beyond me.

 

I seem to recall Hopkin commenting that with Caddis and Mellor the right side is looking fairly solid now. What I took from that was that the left side wasn't so hopefully he's waiting for January. It's probably one of those trying to use what's available situations and if he does bring another left back in we can't say Chicksen wasn't given a chance.

Disagree, it's sanitising football. I like controversy, it helps make football interesting for me.
