    I think the last 4 names are the most telling.
    The fact that these are the same as the end of last season,for me is disappointing.
    I’m fairly certain most people were hoping that our front line would have been strengthened with some experience
    The chances of Cook repeating last season are not impossible but unlikely.
    Oliver’s injury/surgery happened in the middle of July so he was never coming back fully fit for a while.
    Derbyshire can’t do 90 minutes and Youmbi is just a kid.
    Admittedly the addition of Pattison should provide more goals from midfield but the majority of the top sides goals come from strikers.

    To have to rely on young loan strikers is a gamble.
    Let’s hope it’s a gamble that pays off.

    We have Smith who is looking good. And at the moment Walker is available which he wasn’t for much of last season.

    Norwich reporter saying it's done, season long loan. 21 year old, 6 foot 4, American CB. Doesn't turn 22 until April, so wouldn't need registering either. Was loaned to Stevenage back half of last season and managed just 4 starts. Guessing Odusina is off?

    Currently has an ankle injury and estimated to be out for 10-12 weeks from mid July so looks like we won't be seeing him for a bit. Strange signing unless we've heard he should be back sooner. Means we would now have 5 right footed CBs and 1 left footed one albeit Odusina played LCB for Hartlepool.

    “At the moment” is the issue with Walker.
    I like Walker and would have him start most games but he always looks like he’s just one tackle from a lengthy lay off.
    He still started 21 games last season and only got 4 goals.

    Smith may get a few but I don’t think he’s the answer.

    Time will tell.

    From the Norwich paper printed 2 mins ago, sounds like he'll be back in the next week or so...

    "The American has missed the entirety of the Canaries' 2023-24 campaign so far with an injury sustained in pre-season, but is expected to return to fitness after next week's international break.

    He's now set to join the Bantams on a temporary deal to increase his chances of game time."
