Has the season ended?

Jesus. I know we look terrible at the moment, but to be so definite about failure after six matches is laughable

 

Considering the problems collins has with tactics/formations takes me back to Stuart and the start of the 2017 and playing next to no-one on the left side of midfield.
After years of watching Meredith and Reid or Meredith and Marshall roaming down the left flank attacking the Kop end it didnt look right, it looked damned odd.
Thing is he got them into the top six playing like that.
Plus he was never pro-active in getting the subs on to respond to how the game was going.
But on a different planet to the 3 stooges currently trying to assemble a team.

 

Did a good job with a great squad the first season. Granted.

Wheels came off second season and deserved more time before being sacked.

The replacements are the issue. If we replaced McCall with a good manager who stuck around and did well no one would be talking about it. Similar with parky. We soon got over his departure with the good job McCall was doing.

 

Phil Parkinson working with this clown, it was never happening the first time around when he saw what the control freak was asking with regards "I know football, I'll bounce stuff off Parky" delusional mate.

Normal teams strengthen each year, as said Stuart had some good players and added to that. Second season he had his budget cut and the evidence was Christmas when we had key players out. By the time our leaders reacted we lost 5 on the bounce. But, this was the perfect excuse to get rid of Stuart.

Now we have a bunch of inviduals not a team. We have some good players but not strength in depth. Not forgetting no tactics

 

‘Stuart McCalls Bradford Army’ should be the go-to chant of the resistance.

 

None of us are laughing bb, quite the opposite.

 

For how many months had he wanted Stuart to go?

 

Bit too late now!! Is it ok for me to partially blame our current blight on those who so vocal and vicious about McCall? Imagine if McCall had the same budget? The same people hated Law too. He would have made a difference this year

 

Very few people really objected when SM was sacked. That was a pretty piss poor run of performances that ended his tenure.
Something similar happening right now I see.
Thats where the comparison ends for me.

SM will always be part of the fabric of this club.

 

I'll be reminding you of that comment @banbrotam , I wish it was laughable just missed the one game at Southend and I can tell you this coach is not capable of turning our fortunes around, and I take no joy in saying that.

 

It gets more obvious by the day how good a job he did, unfortunately Rahic didn't realise how lucky he was to appoint him and it masked how stupid he was for a year or so.

Quite a few of us did but I remember posters at the other end of the park shouting louder even though there were fewer of them. Some of us had an inkling of the conditions Stuart was working under, others said we were making it up.

 

Well you and @Park bantam can start your own appreciation thread although it isn’t really relevant as he didn’t have to put up with Edin, he got out while the going was good.
