    I use to work in Stockport. An evening kick off should make it relatively easy to find street parking. Personally I would look for somewhere just to the east of Wellington Street (A6). Access is quicker coming off at Junction 27 and going up St Mary’s Way (or it was 10 years ago).

    Last time I was there it poured down I mean torrential on an open end .....and they tried to let us into the covered area with their fans bedlam total....... bedlam

    I've paid £3 to park on someone's driveway, 400m to the west of Edgeley Park, which suits me as I'll be using M60 junction 2.

    And as National Grid will be paying me to use electricity for 3 hours today, I'll be topping up the car, which means a free return journey to Stockport tomorrow.

    Just need the 3 points now.

    We’re you there for the abandonment in 1977 when it poured down and ref called it off with us winning 2-1 and fans were covered in mud scrapping on the pitch.

    Massive game. They are top of the form table (of the last 10 games) and only conceded 4 goals in the last 10 and scored 19. Our next 6 are massive, playing mainly teams around us in the table. Stockport (A), Mansfield (H), Stevenage (A), Tranmere (H), Barrow (H) & Donny (A) within the next month.

    Not a great but not terrible record against the top half this season, 5 wins, 5 losses and 2 draws. Huge month to keep pace.

    This is one of those games where I would gladly take a draw before kick off. I already stated I think Stockport will get promoted and are the form team at the moment after Stevenage. Any points from this game are stopping a direct rival gaining ground on us.

    The referee was Terry Bosi, who lived not too far from me and who gave me a lift to/from that match and the rearranged game. I, therefore, got a first hand account of his decision making process in abandoning that match.

    We are 4/1 to beat Stockport tomorrow (Bet365, Paddy Power, BoyleSports, Betfair).

    Stockport are 1/7 on to win or get a draw.

    To say we are higher in the league than them, these odds are a bit of a damning reality check that we're probably in a false position.

    Hopefully we can produce a bit shock (bit sickening when beating Stockport in a league match is a shock).

    Isn't the idea that they only pay you if you use less electricity than normal during that period, as per your smart meter readings ?

    I'm realistic to understand how football works. Teams form division against a team with a fair few new players. Have just as good if not better squad than we do. If someone said you'll come away with a draw I'll take that
