    I believe they played Friday night because Saturdays the police would be out in numbers at Old Trafford not to much Main Road as they were down with us in the lower league for a few years, as you say all part of the era we were daft young men.
    My grandad used to tell me of the era of gang fighting in various areas of Bradford and sometime city's years before, of course the years of the "mods & rocker" facing up to each other, past history and football is a far better place for it far more family orientated now adays.

    Daft young men that have aged into daft older men.
    As you say more family oriented nowadays and, all the better for it.

    Never lose your sense of humour mate, although having a sense of humour has to be a big part of why we have watched Bradford City for so many years.
