Irrespective of individual situations, it does seem groundhog day, with similar schemes in the past, which leave us still in the khazi league.

All this on the back of a one third increase in season ticket prices (which I voted for BTW).

Yes exactly and I naively bought the 1903 club with the campaign stating it would give DA a bigger budget, is that why we have ended up with Port Vales 4th choice striker ?
There’s some brilliant people but the club really does annoy me at times.

No fiance with regards the new seating, the company are offering new seating rather than a financial injection.

Ok, apart from Salford which other clubs in this league are routinely funded by their owner ? Football is a business and should be run within its means. Expecting the owner to fund shortfalls every year isn't realistic.

Salfords owners will get fed up of putting in money, if promotion is not achieved sooner rather than later and if Millwall have run up debts of £16 million just to be a run of the mill championship club , wow , we will need someone to invest stupid money just to stay in that league, if we ever get there. Anyone got a spare £100 mill down the back of the sofa.

Without being disrespectful USG, what relevance is this to the discussion of Rupp? Deflection?

How many season tickets did we sell? 12,750 was it? Half that and a bit more say to be conservative at 6,000 and double the season ticket prices across the board. Which other club still would get near 6,000 season ticket holders if we pay say on average when you include seniors and children £300? Then you have to take in to account every other club has a discount for seniors and children. Even with cheap tickets we should bring in more than any other club at this level, then you have the sponsorship that goes with having more viewers, more shirt sales etc. I’d be shocked if we don’t bring the most money in, yet our budget feels like it’s not even top 3. Something doesn’t add up, for me we don’t need an owner who is going to throw good after bad money away on big expensive squads, we need on who cares about football and will go through every part of the business as to why our income alone can’t give us the biggest budget at this level.

First thing that springs to mind is we don’t own our own facilities and I imagine they cost a fortune for this level especially the stadium, until we get someone in who won’t just rely on a cup run or player sale to give a bit extra but looks for a way to get that expensive weight from around our neck we won’t progress. If someone came in and bought the stadium back, even if they made the club pay it back in a long term loan we could add £2-300,000 a year onto the playing budget just there. Selling the stadium saved us, but this last 10 years it’s played a part in holding us back imo.

Personally I don’t think Rupp cares as long as it’s self funding and has no ambition to develop the club, Sparks and Adams can talk about Championship football but their hands are tied without the right owner.

When Millwall last got relegated from the Championship the owner said that to keep them in the Championship he had been putting in about £8million a year.
The old khaki league chestnut again. Adams knows what it takes to get out of this khaki league. Hard work and giving this league some respect.

As Forest Green Rovers Profit/Loss account in their last set of account's posted at companies house was - £12.7M (that's Minus). I'd suggest Dale Vince

It's got a lot of relevance as a lot of people seem to feel that if Rupp doesn't pump cash into the club he should go. To be replaced by?

But he hasn't got Bradford City out the khazi league, has he. Hard work alone well not get you up.

Keep hearing all the accolades of the boss. His players ultimately will get a team promoted?

Forest Green, who are too, Harrogate who are second, Fleetwood are heavily backed by Pilley and they got promoted.

I've already mentioned your last sentence above.

    But he has failed.

Sometimes a partnership does not work whether in real life or business, that's what we have with Rupp and Bradford City.

Think you need to do your research.

Seriously mate nonsense. Rupp is a dreadful owner backing or no backing . Utter shite!

It's interesting that you talk about facilities and who owns them because did you know we just played at Mansfield Town who payed off their purchase of Field Mill two years ago and now own their stadium after a seven year payment plan was put in place

The owners I think bought it from a former owner and now own it completely

Our stadium is slightly different because it's owned by a pension trust but I would think negotiations could be done I don't see why not but note that Mansfield also haven't really progressed at all in that time so the question is would you prioritise facilities or first team endeavours because it's unlikely you can have both

    Just my two pence

The ground and the club are owned by the same people rather than the club owning the ground. You might say there isn’t any difference but that is how we ended up in this position
