Absolutely not. No treatment such as he received is ever justified.

 

Assume it's Big Ben Clarkson that's the man in question, if so it's all water off a duck's back and hardly original to a guy who's done the job for over ten years.
As you point out Dave he does double up as head of the sports medicine department .
He's also is academically published with articles regarding ankle injuries, strength and performance in professional footballers and injury screening.

 

I don’t think for 1 minute he wants to be overweight. My guess he has been on every diet known to man. The experts are now scientifically demonstrating that it is not down to fuel in and energy burned. Much more complex, faulty genes etc. I am also guessing he eats less rubbish food than those that are judging him. Professional football clubs don’t employ people who are not successful in their field.

As for the abuse

 

Didn't really pay to much attention to what was going on when the players went down injured, to busy looking at my acca on my phone (it lost). But fair enough to the guy he took it in his stride and wasn't bothered about walking back around in front of the kop, grown men stood up giving him volleys of abuse some had children with them, now that's truly pathetic, nearly as pathetic as the 10 who were wearing claret and amber.

 

As a fellow fatty.. I can tell you he won't give a rats ar$e.. why let words bother you.. he's probably more succesful in his work life than about 80% of the people dishing it out!

 

Not sure how bad the abuse was, but Millwall didn't seem to get to him

Well he has been there awhile I am presuming everyone there is satisfied with his work. TBH not really looked into it but I would want the best that our club can afford, and the one that gets results.

 

I was referring to the bit about football clubs only employing people who are successful in their field.

I can think of a few at City that have been less than successful
