To some our views will seem crazy after only four games but when I walked away from Moss Rose on Tuesday night my mindset was made up regarding the season ahead.
Hope they prove me wrong but fear it really is going to be a season to forget under leadership with very little experience.
Every point gained will a plus for me
If I don't expect great things I won't be disappointed in May that's my take on present proceedings.

In all seriousness @Dubois if he doesn't and we are part of a relegation fight just where does Edin go, although he told us of all the candidates he interviewed there were no contenders for the job, many fans don't believe that to be the case, does he ask Greg to take the reins even though he would have been part of the coaching team that failed, no new coach to fight a relegation battle.
That to me is a more worrying factor, let's hope he can turn it around.

He won't turn it around. The question is, where do we go then? As I've posted elsewhere nothing will improve until the Germans go. Collins is the symptom, the illness is Rahic..

 

I only listened to the Pulse commentary on the Macclesfield game, but as you say where as many were suggesting Collins should not be judged until at least 10 games into a new season more of the posters who were passing those sort of comments are now raising concerns about the way we have started this season.

 

I am one of them, but normally you see slow steady improvement even though we may continue to lose games. From what I have heard, it sounds like we are deteriorating, now that is something that needs addressing.

 

Usually in these sort of games where a player is going back to their old stomping ground or playing against the team they have played for in the past the said players step up and showed the team they had played for what they are missing, according to Pulse there was only Deing who did that today, unfortunately.

 

Completely right Bronco. Payne was squeezed out of the game but tried hard. Wright didn't look up for it at all and certainly not captain material. But then nobody came out of the game with any great credit

Was there today and only now have I calmed down enough to comment. Overall, this is one of the most depressing and dispiriting performances I have witnessed in many a year. City were woeful from start to finish. I'll comment on our joke manager in the other thread but we were set up to fail from the first minute. Clueless. Abysmal. I don't buy into this gelling stage because these are 'professional' footballers who should be able to do the basics without needing a coach to tell them how to play.

O'Donnell 6 - a couple of good saves but his distribution was patchy. Was stood in front of the City fans as the first half whistle blew and he shouted out 'shit' which I think sums up what he felt of the whole sorry mess.
Riley 4 - a talented young player who was often faced with 2 or 3 players against him due to the cluelessness of Collins' tactics. Probably a player of talent who we'll destroy by removing all confidence and self-belief.
Chicksen 2 - one of the worst players we've had in the last decade. No strength and over hit cross to over hit cross. Dross.
O’Connor 3 - feck me he's slow. Steptoe's horse is quicker. How he is keeping out Killa beggars belief. As a club we are truly fecked if this carthorse is better than our player of the year.
McGowan 4 - my granny can head a ball further than this guy.
Wright 4 - Wrong. Nicky Law with blond hair.
Akpan 4 - solid but slow.
Payne 5 - game passed him by. A pain to watch.
Scannell 5 - doesn't have the bottle to take players on and drive into the box. Took the easy option every time which was to pass to someone else. went missing in action in the 2nd half and looked to be carrying and injury for the last 20 minutes.
Colville 5 - meh.
Doyle 5 - let's take a good lower league striker and turn him into dog shit by playing him up top on his own. Please City call Oldham and ask them how to play Doyle because Collins won't be able to work it out.
Subs - can't be bothered

Manager is out of his depth and this team on today's performance is where it deserves to be in the league.
