Another major mistake by the man who knows football, why 3 year contracts surely he's not daft enough to believe they were going to do so well he needed to tie them to the club with a 3 year deal, the guy is deluded and dangerous.

It's the way we are playing that is very worrying, torn apart in two league games and beaten by a lowly league 2 side, all in a week. The problems are obvious, if Collins can't see them then i'm not sure this is the career for him.

Edin has no clue about the English game and alot lies firmly at his feet for how our club has changed so much too soon and it clearly isn't working.

 

Abysmal. The only time we looked remotely like a league one side was after we went 442 and even then we were shit. The only performance I can recall that was worse, was last season at Blackpool

OD 7 - kept it respectable
Riley 4 - roasted.
Chicksen 5 - he’s crap, but wasn’t the biggest problem today
O’Connor 5 - over worked
McGowan 5 - over worked part 2
Wright 4 - Mr Invisible. A poor mans Nicky Law
Akpan 5 - built like a brick shit house. Played like one.
Payne 5 - looked lost
Scannell 5 - looked lost and out of position. Worked hard though.
Colville 6 - willing. Did ok.
Doyle 5 - NOT. A. LONE. STRIKER.

depressing stuff. And whilst I want to be supportive of a new manager, that looked every inch the performance of a side directed by a man out of his depth. It was pathetic. We made Southend look like Brazil and Dieng look like Pogba.

I think we need to act early, because this setup has ‘relegation dog fight’ stamped all over it.

On the ball, we’ve barely strung two passes together and it’s not sticking up front.

Both full backs are poor - but they’re also both exposed.

Playing a lone front man with these players doesn’t work.

And playing scannell on the left doesn’t work - and is non-sensical.

No one winning individual battles and no cohesion in the team. Poor stuff.

Bright spots - O’Donnell looks a good keeper and Colville has something about him.

 

Riley now taken off in his first three league games. Jesus wept, can someone tell Collins we have a decent right back that we bought from Blackpool. This isn't helping Riley either. Kill his confidence.

Im not a defeatist by any stretch of the imagination but untill we find a way to score goals we are going in the wrong direction under our new management team.
