It’s also not just the interference. I sat in NW corner today and you cannot hear what anyone is saying.

 

MK Dons one of the best sound systems that I have heard. Surely screened cabling should eliminate feed back and interference if earthed properly.

 

It was far from fine in the top tier you can't understand a word . God help us if ever there's a real problem . It's like been at a non league ground

 

It was interference from the Liverpool TV transmitter. I hope we can upgrade to a system that is able tolerate interference. Stefan was there yesterday and subjected to his ears being blasted, sponsors? We need a good system that can be heard in every part of the ground.

 

See my comments on the other thread. All this is with Paula Watson who is and was aware of the various issues on Sunday in her position of Ops Manager. Paula will be dealing and we have spoken this week.

 

See my other responses. Being in a voluntary/ advisory role, that is what I have done with the comments from Sunday. Paula Watson is well aware and as I've already said elsewhere she was let down prior to the game which I hope will not happen again as I know Paula has taken action.

 

poor clarity and has been for some years, 24k people will soak up an awful lot of sound and it showed today. regardless of static interference which was annoying but couldn't be helped, the quality and clarity of the speakers are below par for the size of the ground.

 

First thing my daughter did after getting back today was to look for this and we listened to it together. (I didn't go to the game I was working). She said it would have been nice to hear it live.

 

Was quite disgracefull that they haven't even sorted it out especially for what the occasion was for yesterday.

Hopefully someone gets a bollocking and it gets sorted before the season begins. Can't believe we ran out of pies 5 minutes into half time too lol.

 

This is a health and safety issue and needs sorting, tomorrow.

 

Isn’t the emergency tannoy system separate to the normal one?

 

What about the filthy toilets and stands covered in bird shit? Were they also fine in the week?

 

Paula is the full time Ops Manager who all this falls to. For my part, like Glenn Ackroyd, I try to help across the board on all sorts of matters but since May 2016 when Edin removed Steve Longbottom and myself from the Board I don't have authority just advice and assistance. Paula is well aware of jobs to do and is more than capable of doing them, yes they have to be prioritised and yes she was let down last week but the complaints on here are noted and Paula does care. If you want to help with any skills you have give Paula a call and help the Club keep costs down.

 

How was the sound system tested? If it was done in an empty stadium I’m sure the sound was ok.

As Keefly mentioned above, the sound system has been very poor for 10+ years, certainly at least from my seat in L block in the Kop.
