    I just don't understand why anyone can feel negative as we enter another season as a Bradford City supporter.

    I am really looking forward to seeing what this team can do.

    At least you have been consistently positive Keefly! ;) As a general point I am now awaiting the 'we are going up' comments if we win at Shrewsbury on Saturday or the 'sack the lot of them' if we lose!! I think we have to give it at least 6 to 10 games before we start to make any judgements but if we get off to a bad start I am not sure MK and Edin will given that leeway (especially Edin)

    Why is edin hated so much????
    Genuine question.
    Please dont say its cos he said i know football or because he ended maccalls tenure!.
    I can name loads of previous owners etc who made mistakes said something but did the other and sold everything barvthe kitchen sink but most never recieved the hatred edin gets.i think its sad very very sad.

    Thats a fair question syb - problem is football is a very emotive game and there are very few things in life that conjure up such passion and feelings of belonging and attachment (it is OUR club). Edin has definitely made a statement this summer to do things 'my way or the highway' and in some ways credit to him for making this stance - for me and many others he went down in our estimations since the new year for leaving us largely rudderless through the second half of last season. If we can just get off to a decent start I am confident he will start to regain some of the support he has lost and hopefully, with some good PR, relations with the fans will improve - but a lot of the negative feeling against him has been of his own making. I dont hate Edin, I want him and MK, all the players etc to be a success - I want to feel a bit more upbeat again about supporting this great club that I will always call MINE because thats the bond I have with it

    Hate is a very strong and emotive word, i would say a sizeable section of supporters are unhappy about how he has gone about certain things, I don't think anyone hates him. If you are looking to be liked don't become the owner of a football club. Even with all the stuff Dean Hoyle has done for Huddersfield there have been sections of fans in years gone by who have voiced their displeasure of his leadership. With his appointment of Collins, Rahic has left himself wide open to criticism if things go wrong. I think Collins will get a certain amount of leeway from supporters because of his lack of experience and the way he came about the job, Rahic will get double helpings of stick. Lets hope the season starts with an encouraging performance.
