    If this was DA's tenure I ( and many others) would be very underwhelmed by this summers recruits ( up to press).
    I'm hoping Hughes's has a cunning plan !

    It’s crazy them 2 and a half thousand who haven’t renewed probably don’t know about it that’s the trouble, it’s not a decent signing or two needed just need to know when the deadline is…

    I know hence the mentioning of not needing signings ;)

    I have notifications on Twitter so I only get a pop up on my phone when it’s City, it’s safe to say I’m close to changing it!

    Im not underwhelmed, im pleased we are doing business early, 8 recruits in by early June. Superb.

    If I look at the players who have left vs the players we have brought in I think we have strengthened. The squad certainly looks plumper. That said, our first 11 isn't as strong as things stand - losing Watt and Vernam damages that considerably and I don't see improvements on them based on the incomings. But we are at June 15th and there is still plenty of time....

    Sadly quite a high sickness and illness rate among City supporters during COVID. I know 3 who will not renew as one is long-term sick and others died within two weeks of each other. I know a fourth who is now working in Far East most of the time. It would be interesting to know the renewal % in normal year. Anything approaching 90%must be fantastic!

    Cost of living has to be factored in as well. Some folk simply do not have the money for 'luxuries' like football tickets.

    If we’re having a successful season the club will make more than selling season tickets, which a plus. Against that if things go as we’ve seen in the last 5 years, I wonder how many will cancel their direct debits?
