I think a lot of the upbeat stuff is simply down to the feeling that we have got a plan for recruitment and unlike previous seasons, we have started getting bodies in early. I still think there will be a few more coming in who might make us a more positive.
No more “ he’s no Lee…” type last minute ones (hopefully).

 

We’re always buzzing this time of year for the season to start ( carnt be any worse than last season ! Can it !?) . Give it till September normality will resume and we’ll be back been miseries with crowds down a few thousand .

 

Can I say I disagree. Maybe, I'm negative, maybe I'm realistic but I don't under the current ownership and at the end of this season, we will have had 7 years of our 'owner'

So I don't do optimism, hope, yes.

Oh and I don't change my mind, like the seasons in a year. Past is revelant.

Prices for new season tickets are higher still. Adult standing £349 (previously £289, up 20.76%), adult seated £395 (from £314, up 25.79%), concession standing £285 (from £204, up 39.70%), concession seated £322 (from £229, up 40.61%), U18 standing £179 (from £50, up 258%), U18 seated £209 (from £75, up 178.66%), U12 standing £129, U12 seated £159.

Is pricing linked to the best stadium deal on the planet whereby a blond drunk gave away a tax payer funded asset to the club?
I know when we lived down there there was a big kerfuffle?

 

The cheap tickets are balanced by higher prices elsewhere in the stadium.
"Post Pandemic" the atmosphere has been excellent, the team performances help of course.
TBH what else were they going to do with it? Had they ignored Coe's legacy demands and designed it with football in mind once the Games were over the owners at the time would have allegedly part funded it. Once the dild* brothers took over the were always going to get it. Johnson didn't really have a hand to play, certainly not with Brady.
You know we don't even pay for the corner flags!
