    I get the club needs as much income as they can get but I'm not sure its going to go down well when ST holders have to pay an additional £10 or so for each game they aren't allocated in the split. Wouldn't they just be better saying match tickets for ST holders will be free but available on a first come first served basis?

    Having looked at the recorded attendances, then with many of them being over 14,000, I would be surprised if all the Flexi Card holders turned up for every game. Selling 3,000 to away/casual fans seems a hefty number.
    The surprise figure is Grimsby at 17,668. If they took the full away area in the Midland Road, (1,300) plus filled the TL Dallas/Bradford End (1,840) to the brim, then that would be 3,140 away supporters. Add that to the 11,300 Season Ticket and it totals 14,440. I would be utterly amazed if all 2,500 Flexi turned up and we sold further seats on top. With Flexi’s and Casual City fans, that would mean at least 3,228 turning up and an immense turn out from Grimsby.
    So I guess ‘smoke and mirror’s might be in play!

    There would still be a significant cost for the club with the logistics.

    They would have to post out the tickets and as I have said before, if they are charging £4 to do this with the season tickets, then I assume the postage/envelopes/time to print-sort-address and get to the Post Office would be comparable.

    Thats what i'd do, i don't think they'll get much walk up anyway. Covid and being in league 2 will put paid to most of that.

    I get that, but if this was done through the online system, they could just charge for postage as normal?

    Still confusion, despite some on here claiming it was all crystal clear.

    i wont be happy if I dont get an ifollow Season ticket with my claret or amber, no interest in social distanced football.

    The way i see it is this.

    1. Your season ticket allows you to watch all 23 home games live, either at the ground or on ifollow.
    2. If at any stage all season ticket holders can be accommodated in the ground, they will be and at that stage ifollow will finish.
    3. The club will not be making it so that all season ticket holders will attend as many games as possible. It's either half and half with a progression to all if the regulations allow. They will not rotate say 9k fans to attend 2 out of 3 games but they will allow all 9k in when the restrictions allow.

    I get that as well. However the club is charging £4 to send out a bit of plastic the size of a credit card.

    I struggle to see the difference in costs, to a card ticket. :unsure:

    I had to look it up, but a first class stamp now costs 76p, throw in the admin time, envelope, etc and even if it was done on a break even basis, it would still be in excess of £1 and more likely around £1.50

    Well you will be unhappy if restrictions are lifted to allow all season ticket holders in as that is when your ifollow pass becomes invalid.

    That bit is clear. Until the capacity allowed in reaches at least 50% then you will get a code for each home game, whether you go or not.
