You know what we shoild do ? Scrap this Claret & Amber idea. Its going to cause more problems than not. On the clear evidence we will be lucky to shift 8000 tickets. Interest plummeted in the team; the stadium is slap bang in Covid Central and many of us will be thinking twice about stepping back down there. For me I havent put a foot in Bradfird for nigh on 6 months !. I've been in Scunthorpe more often ! and thats once to the only UK Speedway fixture since March !.
So scrap Claret & Amber and just sell season tickets first come first served. If I miss out I"m not going to kick up any fuss. I have already written off this season anyway. If and when we all go back all I ask is that my regular seat is there for me to take up. Always assuming the club has not folded which of course it could I suppose ?
I honestly do not think we will sell more than 7-8000 on a fcfs basis so that should allow all those who want to go back in October to attend most home games. See one miss one is just adding another layer of uneccessary hassle. Sell them till we hit the new limit and then rest of us just social distance from City until better times. Should be plenty of Covid zombie land football on TV or simply support a club at Tier 7 or below. Steeton here I come at lesst it should look more like football and a whole lot less hassle. Good luck to everyone.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...Rocket, Bantamsteve, Bronco and 1 other person like this. -

So your flawed logic is that every football fan should not buy a season ticket because the owners don't need the money.
That of course would see the end of football in this country. Is that what you really want?
Or are you saying we buy matchday tickets instead giving even more money to the owners or are you saying don't go at all?
You seem confused in what you want to achieve. What is the master plan in your mind?
Most on this forum have an affinity with Bradford City that goes deeper than just money. Its not a business but a pastime. It has never been a business nor have I ever looked at it as a business.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Some households have multiple season ticket holders, but in theory would only need ifollow pass for them all to watch.

The only difference is your not going to travel to the ground plus how many don't turn up in the winter months but if they have it on the TV they don't worry about the weather. -

You cannot compare the normal matchday routine, including wrapping up to sit in the freezing cold, to sat at home watching on a screen.
If we are not allowed in next season, it will be the wireless for me, assuming Radio Leeds will broadcast matches, that way I cannot see the empty stadium.Wakefield Bantam, bantamdave41 and Fordy117 like this. -

There is the emotional connection with Bradford City and there is an interest in football outside of Valley Parade.
I am a Bradford City supporter. Wherever I have lived in the UK and around the world when asked who I support I say 'Bradford City'. But I have spent season where I have decided to watch other teams, either because I have lived there, or simply because I am also interested in football overall.
Leeds is a bit to close to the bone. I could never bring myself to go to Elland Road ever (I have never seen Leeds play live, have never set foot in Elland Road and fully intend for it to remain that way for as long as I last.)
However, I have been a regular at Fulham, Spurs, West Ham (late 70's), Burnley, Manchester Utd (early 80'S), Portsmouth, Plymouth (mid 70')and I was a season ticket holder at Luton Town during their League One/Premiership days in the mid 80's and early 90's.
My point being I have no problem with people deciding they want to see something else and taking a break from Bradford.RCarol, Interested Bystander and BSABantam74 like this. -
Their trying to make the best of a bad job, the no food or beer is not a problem for me, not bought any thing in the ground for years, the price and quality is poor.
