Seems the most sensible option, and my advice would be if it’s not for you simply don’t go next season it is what it is can’t be helped. Judging by Twitter a lot of people need their hand holding to get through life.

However what’s to stop people getting a VPN for £5 a month and buying all 46 games home and away for £110 next season? Seems the sensible option unless they’re going to raise the price for those abroad.

 

they have said they will issue one before they go on sale once they have all the details. obviously it might not happen if Bradford is still on lockdown

 

If they can not understand simple rules then explaining a VPN and setting it up will be way beyond them

 

Compare it to what other clubs are offering then come back to me

 

I got an email from i follow saying that my subscription would be auto renewed on Sept.1st,cost £45.I assume this would be for the same package as last year,ie,live commentry of all EFL league and cup games,and video highlights a couple of days later.With all the restrictions that are going to be in place,plus the fact that i am well into my 70s,i think this will probably be about right for me next season,i really dont fancy going to VP at the present time.

 

Nothing to stop them but if they do, then they lose their seat. It's why the ifollow pass has to be linked into the season ticket as the club will be fully aware there will be some that will try to use a VPN and others where there is more than one season ticket holder in the household that could just buy one pass and have multiple people watching. At then end of the day, a lot of it comes down to whether people want to continue to support the club during these difficult times or whether they would rather find a cheaper alternative.

 

You don't even need that. If you start the stream under a free VPN and then turn the VPN off after the stream has started it still works.

 

Trouble is we have a stadium with plenty of space, losing a seat probably won’t be that big of an incentive to some, me and my mate have already renewed, but why can’t we view away games on there when someone paying £40 less sees all 46 games. Due to no away travel for probably the entire season, I think away passes need looking at or people will just find a way round it.

 

I know it is a nightmare for the club to manage, however, in a nutshell its technically double the cost to watch us next season.

 

With Bradford 2 stages behind most of England with regards to easing of lockdown there could be the real issue if the ground being shut whilst other clubs in league 2 have access to their ground.

 

Wearing a mask,and shouting(sorry,that's forbidden)to make yourself heard to the person nearest you,it's not really a fun day out is it.

 

With crap owners, crap managers (present one excepted for now), crap players, crap tactics and now bloody covid, we really do need a bit of cheering up now don't we...
Makes me think that maybe the club are right to be cautious there are more difficult times ahead I guess....

 

I suppose it depends on your view. I buy a Claret membership and get to ‘endure’ 11-12 games for £150 plus the option to stream the other 11-12 games at home.

 

So 3 out of our group of 5 have said they would probably give next season a miss. I am undecided and not spoken with the 5th. Chances are the 5 of us will give it a miss.

Too much hassle, only been able to see half the games for price of a full ticket, no atmosphere, masks I presume and just no enthusiasm at all for the season in general

 

Sit away from each other just after everyones been in pub together pre match is laughable,
Then double the price to boot, think take up is going to be seriously poor.

 

Good point, and another way to generate a bit of extra income (particularly if as many think, we won't sell as many seasons tickets this year).

It seems the emails may depend on the type of subscription you hold. I have a pay monthly subscription and I got the same email as mentioned by Botswana, i.e. it will no longer auto-renew and will be cancelled.

Whereas yours is an annual one? And you got a different email?
