Most meaningless game of the season

 

Not for players who are serious about earning a deal or wanting to play a part here next season. And this is exactly the sort of game that we should have 2 or 3 lads from the U19 Title winning team on the bench for. Give them 10 mins at the end.

Scunthorpe have started fielding you players so it would be a good opportunity to give some of our youngsters a chance.
Tony McMahon will be in their dugout as he is the first team coach.

All matches are relevant and important. I have paid for a ticket and want entertaining.
Don't want to sit there looking at players who can not be arsed.
We have paid their wages, they owe us a performance and all in position's of authority at the club should be letting them know big time.
Fed up to the back teeth of footballers and their pathetic attitudes.

 

These players have all had plenty of opportunity to impress MH I’m afraid not many have, so yes play some youngsters and see if any have what it takes.

 

Getting paid a grand a week to kick a ball about for 90 minutes, and some still can't be arsed.

I think it's obvious from the Colchester performance that some of them know they're going. Sutton is usually running around midfield like a maniac, but he was absolutely disinterested.

Not sure what Threlkelds excuse is since he's still got another year left, he was both disinterested and shite, he's not even national league level.

 

Isn’t Sutton one of those being released at the end of the season apparently. That might explain his subdued performance.

 

i don’t think Hughes will select any of the youth players for the Scunthorpe game, he will let the whole squad enjoy the half time walk around after receiving the the cup for winning the league.

 

The first team (sans Paudie) will be put out with a large boot up their rear, home win is a must, at least for the mental health of our new management team (and me). Imagine losing to Scunthorpe on Saturday at home, a la Colchester style.

Carlisle at home will be an interesting set up too.

 

Be interesting to see what team we play.

I'd like to see some kids playing, but I'm not sure they'll get on.

 

Hughes desperately wants/needs a home win and his team this weekend will be the one he best thinks can achieve this - nothing else

Zero interest. Hoping its sunny and I'll find myself a decent beer garden in Leeds.

 

I'm interested, because my neighbours a Rochdale fan and if they finish above us he'll be on about it all summer.
