It always amazes me how our fans know every player and think because they've been 'doghsit' then that defines them forever

Most of us laughed when Swansea took McBurnie, me the loudest - he now looks a totally different player, light years better than the version that left

i.e. has Devin had a decent coach, I actually don't think so before Bowyer

Not saying I'd keep him, but to just slate the young lad when he's just been part of an away win, tells you all you need to know about the bitterness of some fans

This is the most bizarre post I've ever read. Devine was shit today, shit when he came on at Coventry last week and shit in all the checkatrade games he played, both this year and last. I know, because I watched them all.

And I can't call a poor player exactly what he is just because he was part of a winning team today? Don't make me laugh. This is a player who has been deemed not good enough, by three managers this season, to get into a side who gave lost 27 league games. What a nonsense comment that is.

He's not good enough, stop the sentimental bollocks.

Only the next 12 weeks will tell Fordy, we can either trust in GB and the Board to do their very best (and only a few weeks back you were urging us all to get behind the club) or we can continue to feel miserable about what has been. Dont get me wrong, it is not going to be an easy job rebuilding from this debacle of a season and it wont happen in one transfer window but at least we are in a position this time to hit the ground running with a manager in place who has had a few weeks to assess everything and a Board that, on the face of it, is determined to rectify the bloody disastrous dealings since last summer. Got to keep positive, and we can all start to make more constructive comments (both good and bad) once we see what is happening with outgoings and incomings - sounds like the retained list is going to be announced a week on Tues or Wed so wont be long now

Do it then. 3k must be small change to a dynamic, thrusting tycoon like yourself.

You’re clearly passionate, have a vision for the club, and as you like to continually remind us, you’re infinitely more driven and successful than the rest of us. Lead by example.

Couldn't make it up with some of our fans. Seems like half the people on here would rather we were beat 4-0 instead of going into next season with some optimism:confused:

We were verging on Championship football with 169 pound season tickets, and while training at a school, with a limited budget.

I don't see any reason to change any of those things.

By no means do cheap season tickets force us to struggle. That's just good old fashioned mismanagement.

To be fair I don't think this is just down to them wanting to put themselves in the shop window. The pressure is off, they are no longer in a relegation battle, they are relegated, whatever happens today there are zero consequences. They can play however they want to play without worrying about the result. I think it's a psychological thing.

Can't bring myself to watch the highlights, the result means nothing to me. This season ended weeks ago, whats left of it is pointless.

I've long since advocated that we raise season tickets. £150 per season gets us exactly what we have now.

Parkinson wanted the whole budget on the first team, which with hindsight was the best way forward. I'd rather that, than spending £5 - £10 million on a training facility that will take years to recoup, whilst languishing in the lower leagues. Just ask the Darlington fans if they'd prefer to be in the league with their old ground or where they are now with the new stadium.

Ruup's intention was never to pump millions into the club, they said that all along. It had to be self sustainable, so the fact he's got millions, doesn't mean he's going to blow it all on a club he has no affinity with.

By the way, which other clubs are building new training grounds?

I am going to put my tin hat on and get ready for the pelters but I think Bowyer May give Anderson a contract and I think he may turn out alright for us. I think he has got better with games and he has a bit of pace strong in the tackle and is the first genuine box to box player we have had for a while. Even if it is just for cover I think he would be worth having around

You just know Anderson is going to get a contract and everyone goes into the first game of the season questioning their sanity.

Actually makes it worse, bottle it all the way through the season and then score a few when it means absolutely nothing. On a side, how shite must Scunthorpe to be getting beat 3-0 at home by the worst team in the division by some distance.

Manchester United took him to that tournament to Ireland where he won the highest goal scoring award, as you say never thought the kid would do as well as he is doing, Swansea have a Premiership set up, good on the kid.

You'll be pleased to know Sheffield United have taken the lead. If it stays that way, L**ds cannot go up automatically. Now that's pleasing

Wilder has done amazing with them, especially as he lost 3 out of his first 4 in charge and they were bottom of league 1. People go on about how good Leeds are to watch, but so are these, be good to see an English manager get promotion to the PL playing good football and with a smaller budget than someone like Bielsa.
