Neither are technically allowed. You can't put it in the contract and a gentleman's agreement is not enforceable, however if you had made such an agreement you would be daft to then ignore it.

Think I'm getting two things muddled up

 

Scunny have some decent players. Be a tough game this.

 

We had some decent players last year but weren't a tough game for anyone. They're down there for a reason, it's a game we need to win if we have automatic promotion aspirations imo.

I think its too early to put too much emphasis on the league table. I think this will be a tough game for us.

Devine will pretty much always need to be on the bench due to the ruling we need one home grown player but surprised Ismael isn't there somewhere, wonder if he's picked up a knock

 

You can have a clause in saying a player can't play against the parent club in this country, in the premier league it's compulsory and automatically written into loans between 2 PL clubs, in the EFL it's effectively an opt out but all control is with the parent club as they have to give written consent within the original deal for the player to play against them. It's only UEFA that don't allow it as they don't want 1 team controlling another teams selection.

The team itself is OK, but the Bench is quite weak, bearing in mind Zeli is still 'iffy' in terms of fitness.
MY instruction would be ..... Manage, and marshall the the game, taking the fewest risks, attacking OR defending. Get that thought right, and neither situation 'should' be an issue. By all means attack - But only when safe - HOW many times have City been caught out by a counter attack ? Time to reverse the tables, and keep the game in Scunthorpes half!
