Aye I think you're right. They said yesterday's allocation was the final one so I thought we'd sold out behind the goal already hut maybe not. Should still be a sell out though.

FYI - the remaining tickets are for behind the goal. Although the club suggest to purchase your tickets to avoid disappointment, there are no real concerns here; as the overflow (500 seats) are ready in the waiting on a first come first serve basis on the day.

The club are merely driving sales through them as it’s in their best interest financially (5% we keep) to do so.

OK, a game coming up, which as posts indicate, is gonna be a sell out - all or most of the talk has been about who has and who can't got/get tickets !!

Errrr, a few thoughts on the match itself ? :p

A bit of a banana skin this one. O cannot imagine Scunny being as bad as their league position suggests?.Maybe they are just taking time to adjust to new manager and players?

I do see that they have 5 players in their squad who have played for City - Lund, McArdle, Proctor, Miller and Gillead

Not so much of a Banana Skin, Idle, but yes, the potential will always be there. A schitt run can only be endured for so long, before a meaningful, but shorterm change in events takes place. I'd rather be facing Oxford, tbh. ;)

Scunthorpe are no longer in the middle of their dreadful run - they look like they're coming out the other side to me.

I still wouldn't recommend we play Oxford right now, though.

I think they will chuck Ward straight in with Van Veen and Proctor.
    They need a boost.
The way we play will be keeping it tight, trying to frustrate the opposition and keeping the home Atmosphere quiet.
Second half if level I see us going for a 1-0 ala Walsall to keep the points ticking over.
    Pritchard getting the goal

1-1. Us holding on for a draw after we've taken the lead early on (Donno) and then let them walk all over us for the remainder of the match. Scunthorpe hitting the post twice.

    Tonights lottery numbers are.........

Aside from a 15 minute or so spell in the game against Carlisle - Bowyer pretty much got it right in terms of Team Selection, Tactics and Subs. (From the players available.)

(NB: R-E now suspended, and Vaughan just a single booking away ...... Anyone else ? )

However, I remain to be convinced by anything, based on one game.
Today is an opportunity to show, and play like our potential suggests - Yet I would consider next week against Swindon be a more realistic examination of our 'credentials'. Therefore, it is imperative that Bowyer and the team plan and play well to get a result today, if only for confidence and momentum, going forwards.

I thought it was the other way round, gentlemen's agreements weren't allowed and you had to put t in the contract one way or the other. I could be wrong
