Seen some right kangaroo heads at the match today.
One city fan walking down the road looking for a fight tried to punch someone through their car window then they started shutting the window so he spat in their face.
His girlfriend shouting fecking pussies they're all locking there cars .

    Thought akpan did well today

Yes pal. He's useless and I don't care what he did at Blackpool.

Bowyer as Bradford City manager is a poor as Josh Wright for Bradford City.

It doesn't happen often and the team with 10 men are bottom of the league.

Even before we kicked the ball we should of been expecting to beat the team at the bottom.

We've a top 6 budget and some players are of league 1 standards.

We should be doing better. It's vastly important to keep expectations high because once you start lowering them you start becoming weaker than you're and less successful. Always believe!

Stop start,Stop start officialdom at its best.
Frustrating afternoon when very little came off for City in the final third and sadly opposition who didn't add to a boring display of League Two football.
A points a point away from home but City must improve and up the tempo.
I didn't think there was enough urgency and energy in our play it was all a bit pedestrian at times, when a simple short pass and shot was all that was needed instead of over cooking the movement and ultimately losing possession in good area's of the pitch.

Should have won that game. Palmer going off effected us too much I felt. Never got going really.

that’s twice now we’ve had that and we have drawn, yesterday and the first game of the season.

Tough game now this weekend coming but one we can win. Swindon not in great form.

A lack of pace in the side really effects not being able to Stretch. Don't have the best fullbacks going forward either for the overload. The mind boggles at Bowyers decision to bring Shay on in injury time? He really doesn't help himself at points. I'd have personally replaced Palmer with Shay and left him in the pockets behind the strikers to drift wherever he fancied. Someone in a free role could've caused havoc as down to 10 men they aren't going to move from their rigid shape to hang on for a point.

We desperately need a bustling six foot plus centre forward to lead the line, we needed it before the season started but have not addressed it, The fact our centre backs keep scoring from set pieces shows where goals come from in this division, we now have the crosses but lack a forward capable of finishing them off, Our front two have had good careers but TBH are looking like they have lost that vital edge when finishing chances

I wouldn’t say that about Vaughan. If his volley had gone in yday instead of hitting the post, we’d all have been raving how instinctive he is. Same for the overhead kick on the opening game of the season. I like him. He’s still got a lot in his locker.
    Donaldson however...

Up to the penalty we were the better side, albeit not looking that threatening. Scunthorpe sat back, even with 11 on the field, and that seemed to hinder us as pretty much every other team has pressed up field. The more i see of this division the more it becomes clear that its such an open division. A few teams have stood out as playing quality passing football such as Cheltenham and Crewe, Exeter are a good side but lost to Grimsby. Our season could easily go either way as i don't we are bad or a good side so far. After 11 games we are developing some shape to what we do. Our back four and keeper are probably our strongest asset at the moment, we are struggling for a real attacking threat though which is worrying and we are very ponderous in possession.
A good run now could easily see us in the top two, a bad run could see us drop to the lower half, hard to call which way it will go.

Aside from Swindon our games look winnable. We play a lot of the sides down there. But as you say can our attack break them down?

4-4-2 doesn’t work away from home I do not feel. Leaves us too easy to stop. Opposition just stick an extra man in midfield and then 2 cb’s for them pick up our two forwards. I like it at home based on our options but not away. Can always flip to it if we have a lead to defend.
I think Devitt will be a big miss and one we might not appreciate until the latter stage of season. Gives us that something different

Thats a good point, we looked way to rigid at times yesterday, the set up played into their hands to a large degree, we were so slow getting the ball to Connolly he was double marked by the time it had got there. Wood is our best crosser of the ball and we had the opportunity to get him ahead of Pritchard when they were down to 10. I'd like to have seen McCartan brought on earlier yesterday, he showed at Lincoln he has the ability to hit the target, i would have dropped him just behind the front two and probably have taken Pritchard off.

Bowyer when at Blackpool had Todd as his assistant who does he have now. Managers manage coaches coach. I think City are crying out for a good coach or a sounding board for Bowyer I certainly don't think Drury is the man. Tactically I think he's very poor but he's a manager he desperately needs an assistant.

I don't get the big deal about our home game with Swindon next Saturday they had 68 % of possession yet still lost at home, they will be a challenge but nothing we can't overcome.
I know its early days but Salford were going to rip this league up with their money and owners we were told.
A point away and 3 at home will get us into a play off, yes we should have brought all 3 points home yesterday but lets not forget we should have shared the spoils with Cheltenham until Evertons rush of blood.

Exactly, why people are obsessed with Swindon being champions elect is beyond me. They’ve lost 2 out of their last 3 league games, are only 2 points above us, and we have home advantage on Saturday. Nothing at all to suggest we won’t win, assuming Bowyer plays the players in their most effective positions and doesn’t feck it all up with his mindless meddling

Plus they might have to play without Doyle.

It's to be hoped that Doyle can't play against his employers Dave! Hell you don't pay a big chunk of his wages only to allow him to play against you!! If he does then someone at VP has made an almighty *@?$-up (or am I missing something?)

Nothing in modern day football surprises me anymore mate, Paul Pogba wants his salary doubling, he's asking Manchester United for £600,000 a week.
