We played well first half. Hit post. Didn’t take our chances. Keeper made a few decent saves. . Paudie and the greatest ever left back according to some were poor. Wood especially. Like it was too easy and we made some dopey decisions in the second half at the back allowing them into the game. No strikers on the bench an issue. Doyle might actually thrive in a side playing like we did in the first half. Screaming sack the manager and asking for polls isn’t going to help anyone. God we’re fickle.

 

A manager is only as good as his strikers. I learned this simple truth years ago when the Avenue swapped Kevin
Hector for Peter Deakin, ceased to score goals and went through a succession of managers. The ones we have at the moment sadly are not good enough to take us to promotion. GB must realise this now which maybe why he is defensive and is trying to grind out one-nil wins. Not easy with standard of defending in fourth tier.

 

If you want him sacked you’ve no idea about football.

 

But for some awful finishing, we could have easily been 3 up and out of sight at half time. We had about 26 attempts on goal. I’m not sure how Bowyer can called out on attacking intent given the players available.

 

1st half was good, probably the best of the season and should've been out of sight at HT. But then as soon as we score, we sit back, invite pressure and try to hold a slender lead against a side there for the taking. That and the pathetic subs are on Bowyer.

 

Merit in the McCartan sub but Taylor at that time was pointless

 

First game I’ve seen in a while. We deserved to win. Our right back should have had 2 goals and we are minus our 1st choice front two. We looked good but miss a cutting edge. Feels like we have a team again and for that Bowyer should be applauded, still a long way to go we should be in the mix under Bowyer.

 

Clearly "they" get under your skin.

 

We've just drawn with Salford in a League Game FFS. Everyone should be sacked and we should just take up tiddlywinks or knitting.

 

If we play with the intensity of the first half we have a chance of automatic promotion as the quality within the division is poor, the last few weeks have shown how really bad it is.Today again yet another limited side there for the taking but we fail to do so. At least the chances were there today, thats a step up from the past few weeks, just need to take them.
