Sack the manager

Not wrong about Reeves at all. He's just added to our negative play. No reason at all for him to drop so deep to pass sideways. None!

As for teams not going up in December it's true to a certain degree but I would say West Brom and Leeds are going up already.

Are you saying managers don't get sacked until the end of the season? Really? Think Mansfield sack their manager yesterday.

Point is yes we're 5th but we should be in the top 3 clearly and with the fixtures in December this should be achievable but dropping points to LO doesn't help.

The club is kind of where it's at because it doesn't operate on strict aims and goals to move it forward. The aim has to be automatic spots. We can't risk play off's under Bowyer.

 

Mansfield sacked their manager because they are poor and well down the league. They were expected to challenge for promotion again, after just missing out last season.

There is no comparison to their position and ours. We are actually in a strong position to push on

 

Mate I can't be bothered going through the managers sacked this season but not all managers in the bottom half have been sacked more have been in the top half.

It's about targets and the future. Do you really think Bowyer is the man to take this club forward?

A good manager has to be able to set his team
up properly but they can't always understand
every aspect of players roles.That is probably
why we've struggled in handling our strikers.

Recruiting players with reputations as goalscorer
is one thing,knowing how to get the best out of

No not on the face of it but nothing should suprise us in football. My point is the team is lumbering along just hanging on largely because despite itself rather than because of. We are not in charge of our own destiny as a true promotion contender is in the main. We are relying on others just being worse than us and that cannot carry on too far into New Year or can it ?. It is complete dross in this Division.

Either way imo he's not earning the right with his constant poor performances, cheating and feigning injuries etc.

Cooke is more vocal, busy, and a fighter. He would be my choice.

You're (intentionally?) missing the point that we started the season with a very poor midfield.

Bowyer noticed, and brought in Pritchard, Connolly, and Cooke. That meant we were no longer relying on Anderson, Devine and Akpan.

An improvement, you'll surely agree?

He will have identified that goals are an issue, and will presumably add more faces in January.

If this window is as successful as the last, then all your criticisms are issues to address, not issues to sack the manager over.

Just let the man get on with it.

Not really fussed about the Jan window. I am more concerned about his tactics that's having a negative effect on the club.

We've the players including Doyle to get out of this league.

If I am honest think we need to ship Akpan, Anderson and Devine out and maybe sent Palmer back.

Bowyer's tactics currently won't get us up automatically. In terms of play offs it's 50/50 because he's not that good for us.

Why do you want to replace another manager? We’ve gone backwards (with the exception of Bowyer), since we went down that road. Imagine the reaction of every other club in this league if we jettisoned Bowyer at this stage of the season. I guarantee he’d be snapped up by the vast majority of clubs.

Your not giving him a fair crack of the whip and decided from the end of last season that you didn’t like him. You’ve questioned every decision he’s made since the start of the season (and last season when he’d no chance to change things). The stats provided by @Rcbantam show we’re making progress and you along with a few others seem blind to the facts.

I’d love to hear who you think would do a better job on and off the pitch at our club.

As for those down the road, I’m looking forward to the usual implosion around March time....

 

Do you really think more signings in January will make a difference to our scoring ability? Most of us already realise that the best striker in the division wouldn't improve us so I'm not sure who you think we'll sign that will sort the issue out.

For what it's worth I think all we need is a LW in an attacking sense because the rest of our attackers are more than good enough, they're just being misused and held back.

 

Nathan Jones. There's an alternative. A proper training ground coach.

 

I'd take him in a heartbeat. Sadly I don't imagine that feeling is reciprocated.
