    Oh yes they do. Friendly games are not just a case of turning up on the day. Issues such as share of gate money, travel costs,etc. are all to be sorted and if you think a PL club or indeed any club would deal with a junior member of staff at the proposed opposition you are deluded, it doesn't happen.

    It will start with the football manager deciding who or where he would like go.

    The fitness team will also be involved.

    The ticket office and health and safety officer

    plus many more! Yes the CEO will sign off but if the CEO is picking where we play our match then I question your knowledge on the game because he won’t.

    Manager decides he wants to tour say Scotland. He identifies half a dozen clubs. Who rings up these half dozen clubs and arranges a date with four of them and all the stuff Roger mentioned? It ain’t Adams, It’s Ryan and probably Mark Harrison, maybe Paula Watson and, depending on his responsibilities, Davide Longo. You can’t have Bradford City turning up at St Mirren and there’s no game on because there’s no ref or St Mirren have a game at Peterhead, needs senior level oversight to make sure it’s all done correctly. Business I’m a director of, important stuff, things that will make us look an arse or cost a lot of money if it goes wrong, I’m involved in. I can’t see Bradford City being different.

    It's not just Ryan on his own that's point I am making!!

    Ryan will sign off and get involved but some on here seem to think that Ryan Sparks is the only member of staff at Bradford City.
