I too think it will be Adams, and fairly happy with that. I also think that everyone concerned have done a great job of avoiding or ignoring every direct question asked of them. No-one on either side has even intoned the dreaded words 'no comment'. Clearly, if it is Adams, NDAs have been signed between us, him and Morecambe.

A family member has been working at Valley Parade last couple of weeks. He has been impressed with the plans Sparks has for improving the fading glory of the stadium over the next two years.

Just need to get the right manager and players in now. Hopefully Adams being announced by mid week next week

Sparks will be out of here if he helms us back into Lg 1 and then the Championship. If he achieves that, he deserves to go up to a bigger club/outfit. Let's see what proof is in that there pudding. I'd love him to leave us because we've become a success.

In my working life, employed within a group structure I've met quite a few characters like Ryan Sparks, working for subsidiary companies. Almost without exception, they flattered to deceive. They dominated group meetings with flowery spiel and grandiose plans. They had neither the experience nor expertise to support their over confident personna. It was a case of "all that glitters, is not gold". A couple of years and life found them out.

For all our sakes, I hope that doesn't apply to Ryan.

So no evidence...about Sparks...... but you have on “others”.

Seek as one finds , NOT seek as one finds in “other” people.
    HUGE difference.

Look at the cosmetic changes in the last six months, the ‘tunnel’, replacing faded seats, painting the clubhouse, photos in the players’ entrance, talk of not accepting mediocrity. All really simple things that start to give a professional image of the club which will help attract sponsors and the like. It’s a leap forward from 20 years of deficits, treading water and make do and mend. Some of what’s going on reminds me of Mason’s time. If Sparks were to leave, and he will sooner or later, the last person I would put in charge again is Rhodes.

And show Sparks exactly how NOT to do it. For that we should be grateful.

No. I hope he's successful. All I'm saying is he reminds me of quite a few whizz kids, I've come across in my life, who ended up as damp squibs. The one thing they had in common was they could "talk the talk".

So, he's put a few pictures up, replaced a few seats, and we've got a new tunnel. Hardly earth shattering. Hopefully, he gets the managerial appointment right and we start to move forward on the pitch.

Ok Let’s put it another way.

Given the same amount of money he has to play with, you know what’s taking place, please tell me what would you do with the same amount of money? Remember you can’t replicate anything whatsoever he’s doing. What would you do to improve the VP environment match day environment?
    Simple question.

Simple answer is all the cosmetic changes are incidental. Success on the pitch is key. No good having shiny new seats, if the fare on the pitch is rubbish - fans won't turn up in numbers. He rewarded a failing manager, with a contract extension, then fired him days later. He appointed Trueman and Sellars, oversaw a golden opportunity to get in the play offs, tossed away with, what turned out to be a sleep inducing brand of football, then promptly fired them.

The measure of success will be to get Valley Parade rocking again with a successful brand of football. All his energy needs to be directed to getting the right manager in, and the trappings of success will inevitably follow.
