Agree. He's shown he's not afraid to shirk tough decisions, fair play. Its strong leadership.

well he is certainly showing that he means business and will not accept bang average performances.
He obviously has his man as well, with not accepting applications.
He is so far away from Julian Rhodes,as CEO, that he is in a different universe.

Fair play to Sparks for making the decision yesterday, that's twice in 6 months he has had to admit that he got his managerial appointments wrong.

His reputation already on the line in his short career as CEO at our club. He needs to get this next appointment right, as well as all the other changes he has been promising

 

For the record and before any announcement, who do you want or who would you be happy with before you berate Sparks and the club as lacking ambition. Just so we know...

 

I think he needs to temper his statements and play down some of the comments he's making because they're coming back to bite him in the arse. The extension for Stuart was a strange one considering our form. Then to sack him after talking about longevity was odd. To appoint T&S as interim, then caretakers, then permanent in a short space of time seemed a bit amateurish and not thought out. He needs to settle the whole place down and stop the knee jerk reactions.

 

Bang on. He talks too much. I think he brings some good qualities but has got to remember this isn't the Ryan Sparks show. Even yesterday he's talking about the club not accepting mediocrity then having to explain the context of it after the sacking of Trueman and Sellars. And the wording of the statement put out 'Trueman and Sellars have been relieved of their duties-with immediate effect. They could have worded it better for two lads who came and did a decent enough job.

 

To be fair, the only reason he had to explain the context of it was because Radio Leeds chose to take that sentence and use it out of context in their tweet. Good on him for putting the record straight on it.

 

They had only just been sacked, can't he wait two minutes before making it the Ryan Sparks show? Give a week or two and then talk about things like mediocrity. He shouldn't be allowing himself to be misinterpreted as a CEO.
