And then the CEO will run it as they have been instructed, pretty sure that's what I said earlier.

I know it goes against your nature to pass a complement for anything but I never said anything of the sort.

I was expressing my reservations at his appointment but then showed credit where credit is due. Does he make footballing decisions? Who knows but he hasn't stood in the way of those that do to get rid of the deadwood.

Backing Ryan sparks 100 percent! All the decisions he had made so far i agree with and the ones he's made that we havnt seen im sure he has done whats best the club, who before him has had to make the choices he's made in a few months? Never mind the year they have been at the club! Since he's been in charge have we improved as a club? Yes, has our team improved? Yes . Has our backroom staff improved, yes! Is the club connecting more with the supporters like offering jobs within the club to us all, yes! Has the team selection and injury news lessened so now our opposition don't just have to go on t&a website to find out of team days before games! Yes! I could actually carry on and on but wont! Some people need to wake up!

Part of the injury improvement is possibly the 3 months without a game that we are hopefully coming to the end of. :innocent:

3 months? But yeh I get your reply, saying that if there is any new injuries do we know know about them? More to the point do the managers of the clubs where about to play know about them?

Seems to me that the players are less injury prone under the new regime than the old....I wonder why that is?

But look at what are you rating the improvements against. The bar couldn't have been set any lower before he came in. Pretty much anything would have been an improvement. That said it does seem like the club have decided to act like a professional organisation for once, only over a long term will we see if there has been any real improvement to the club, and that means promotion.

And vastly OFF the pitch improvements.

Bradford City are so behind the curve. It's time to start showing we are a serious football club.

Won't happen overnight, this ship has sunk all the way to the bottom, its gonna take time just to refloat it, never mind anything else. Only promotion will really put this club in the right direction and that may be years away. I respect what Sparks is trying to do but then thats his job he's paid to do, like anything his next move up the career ladder are dependant on how much revenue he brings into the club and overseeing promotion to league 1.

We're not getting out of this league for years.

The best we can hope for as fans is Rupp to sell up.

Problem is the salary cap now dictates if someone else does come in theres only so much they can do investment wise on the pitch. That said, i agree with your comments on Rupp.

The salary cap for me highlights why we need to start moving in making an off the field impression.

The salary cap has been a leveller and a wake up call for the club.

Finances can’t be used as an excuse for failure at this level - look at the league table now.

A 1-2-3 of Cambridge, Newport and Carlisle. All small clubs but have good managers who are doing their best with cast offs.

Their past recruitment has been better than ours and/or their coaches are much better than ours have been.

Speaking of Newport, their goalkeeper jumped ahead of Kurtis Guthrie in the goalscorer charts yesterday.

The salary cap is there nothing we can do there but this window we have shown we are willing to pay transfer fees which hopefully give us an advantage. Also we have set up a scouting system which hopefully will continue to produce results

Not played a game for a month and morale has increased :joy:

    That's bonkers.

Seems everyone is happy with the transfer strategy.

Just one thing left to do now, and that's actually perform and not expose all our signings as utter pap!

Jon - some might say utter pap is an improvement.
