I don't really understand what you're asking me, but the situation isn't going to be the same in September/October.

Chances are they'll trial games behind closed doors to end the PL season, and take various aspects of the protocol into starting the season in August/September for the restart for the whole league.

The government at the moment are very keen for people not to undo the good work of the lock down by prematurely disregarding the advice. They're waiting for a real period of down turn in numbers of infections, and you can already see that we're at the very start of that, before opening up in stages.

To think nothing is going to change by September/October is a bit odd. We'll be in a different stage of lockdown by then for certain, unless there is a significant upwards trend - but that's a huge 'unless'.

I'm saying that if football doesn't return in June/July it's not going too in September. 2 months later the social distancing rules and testing won't change.

Many scientists believe a second wave will happen in the winter resulting another lockdown. Think you just think we can just pick this virus and start when ever.

The testing, social distancing, deaths will still be here until a vaccine is found. The problems football finds itself today will sill be around for months and months, so we either crack on now or we wait 12/18 months.

Many scientists are concerned that flu season coupled with coronavirus is going to be difficult, that's true. But I think you're wrong expecting the social distancing rules to be the same. We only started taking action in March, we're only two months on from that.

Two months is a very long time.

The UK government will set out the next phase this week.

The season will start, IMHO, behind closed doors. The bosses need to get their act together in terms of broadcasting those games until we're able to get back inside the stadiums.

If the PL ends the season I will believe it but if not then I won't believe next season happens.

The same issues will remain. Think it's dreamland for football to think in September all will be fine.

One of the issues is what happens if a player gets it? Well a player can still get it in September.. social distancing will still be around as the government have already said.
Insurance issues will be still around.
Player contracts - Bradford City are not going sign 10-15 players knowing the virus is around and getting players on a year contract when we couldn't see a second/third wave. I just don't see it
Then a second wave in the winter possible.

It just makes me laugh that people talk about next season like all will change. We get going now or not at all. That's how I see it. I don't see football returning until a vaccine is found if we can't get going if the lockdown is eased next week.

*just read in the Independent that' if the PL doesn't restart many could face challenging times and could go in the summer but you think yeah it will be fine in September. So 6-7 months with no income. I just don't see it. Football needs to plan for now, it can't afford too wait.
