Ryan Sparks Interview

You have never been happy. Even when your midget entourage come round you are still bloody miserable.

 

The one thing that is incontrovertibly true about Sparks, is he 100% believes his own shite.

 

It could be argued that Fordy is weak. Hell of a lot talk but very little action to back up his scathing criticism of Sparks, Rupp, the club in general and even us supporters.

I'm not sure this forum is a barometer for our fan base, you only have to read certain members posts/replies you don't need to look at their username to know who they are, everyone has a right to their opinion, and everyone has the right to challenge it which doesn't always go down well.

 

That is true. Why on earth would any Bradford City be happy with 6 years in Div 2 and club clearly going backwards.

 

Will you but a ST next season if we are still in League 2?

 

Seems some are happy to tell everyone how weak they are and they taken for mugs by the club, yet when I've asked if they will be attending the next home game no reply.

 

It’s really not as simple as that Bronco. I hate hate what’s happening to my club, I honestly can’t see where it ends.

However the clubs in my blood and I would find it hard not to go. I am as committed as I used to be going to all away games as I once did .. no because it genuinely gets you down. Stopping going especially home I can’t!!!

 

Maybe, because you are bored or can’t think of any alternatives to do?

Hahah have plenty of alternatives thanks but like I said in my blood.

I have decided that I won’t spend a Penney in the ground or in the shops. I used to.. but absolutely doing the minimum like Rupp.

 

Lets get it right Sparks could be telling Rupp any old shit and he may believe i mean how long did it take for him to wake up to Rahics antics ??????

That same person @wetherbywhaler wont fly back over to tell Rupp that Sparks needs to go! No, I wonder why?

I was surprised the T n A put this out and divided it into three parts. To me it sounds like Sparks has written the lot, e-mailed Parker, and he’s copied and pasted it and maybe reworded some of the titles he was sent as ‘questions’ to make it seem like an interview.

Parker gets a lot of stick, but this seems like a club propaganda piece in response to criticism of RS we’ve not heard much lately.

 

Thats because i don’t think this was an actual interview. It doesn’t flow like a proper interview would. Just sounds like pre-scripted guff Parker has edited to sound like he’s asked questions

 

Nope. And who can blame them. At the minute we’re 16th. SIXTEENTH! Pathetic season. Hughes should have been sacked after Carlisle but they didn’t have the balls to do the necessary.

 

Agree Fog, I think the key for dissatisfaction is direction of the club as you alluded to - or rather the total lack of a perceivable direction

I can see why Sparks kept Hughes on, he mentions it in his latest piece with Parker. We wouldn't have been so bad if he'd carried on the method he'd spent a year trying to perfect, it just needed a better calibre of player and a more proactive mindset from the manager. But as it stands you are correct in that something needs to change, we are 16th and yet again staring at another wasted season. Forget the pizza trophy or whatever it's called now, unless they deliver success in the league it's pointless.
Having watched.quite a bit of footy elsewhere due to our game being called off it was a pleasure to watch something other than dross league 2, admittedly I did watch some league 2 and its terrible.
