We’ve had that argument for years but agents players know what is been offered, it’s a tiny pool in reality and I imagine discussions happen peer to peer.

Whether we shout from the roofs or keep it quiet I guarantee Stockport, Salford, Wrexham, Notts county, Gillingham, Mansfield, Crawley, MK will sign better quality than us and out of those clubs that’s your top 3 and play off clubs. We will have the usual plodders. It cost to be successful we don’t get that

I’m sure we will have a competitive budget just as we had this time. Of the five clubs above us possibly only Stockport had a better budget.
It’s how the budget is used is the big factor. Whilst it would be great to have some wealth behind us and the willingness to use it. The likelihood is that we are always going to have to generate our own money and we seem to be doing a good job of it at the moment

Well I’m speculating whilst we didn’t have the best budget but big enough to have a very competitive Squad

They can’t build a new ground AND fund what is required to stay in the Prem Offy? Don’t get me wrong they have done a great job, but the pitfalls are looming but build a ground as well?

Forest have stayed up with their home record, that's all Luton can hope for as well next season.

Luton haven't a prayer of staying up next season. Be close to lowest points tally ever in the Premiership I reckon.

I actually thought that this season with Fulham before a ball was kicked. How wrong was I.

No team will like going away to Luton for an evening kick off, which is what the TV companies will want to put on. They'll win at least 5 home games next season.

Is it a £170 million sum for the next 3 years.
Take the money ,add 1 or 2 players of better quality for their more than likely return to the championship and a good chance of going back up, think Burnley. Build the new stadium and strengthen their hand.
They should be well set for the next decade or so.

Too right Offcomedun. They deserve their utterly unexpected jump into the Premier, will struggle like crazy to muster 20 points or so but heck, it's pushing them on as a club and will help towards creating a new ground and a sustainable future. Good luck to them.

Maybe not. They are about to start construction of a new stadium close to the railway station. First phase to be opened supposedly in a matter of a few months is for around 20,000 fans with a quarter or so of safe standing. They certainly have a plan!

The club is doing well financially because of higher gates and commercial opportunities. It’s using the likes of the good budget we had this year better

And you know what really, really helped them?

They brought in Nathan Jones, who took over from John Still, and he made a bunch of changes to a poor squad, got his side to the play off semis, they lost, but they still backed him.

So far, we're following the blueprint exactly: hire a much better manager than your last, and leave him alone.

We're actually doing all of that.

Next season, we're coming for the League Two championship!

Yeah its definitely unique. They've had a new ground planned for years but from what i read a while back it was all dependant on a retail park being built first. That ground capacity will cost them millions next season.

Our home crowds weren't a problem under Phil Parkinson or Stuart McCall, I wonder why.

Shame the powers that be didn't do the same when McCall got us to Wembley, Millwall backed Harris when he took Millwall to wembley the previous season getting beat by Barnsley, not out two clowns they thought running a football club was easy Rupp actually believing Rahic was the main reason we got to wembley not McCall hence why they asked Stuart to resign.

Millwall's owner puts in approx. £8m a season. We've never had that, ever.

What would be the motive for Rupp to put that sort of money in certainly at this level. Not only him I just can’t see any prospective new owners doing it either.
