Rather than just make things up, l have had a quick look at the available figures. These are by region rather than City, Town, Metropolitan, County District/Area.

Looking at the figures it suggests that London and the South East have far more hospital admissions than Yorkshire and the Humberside

    Slightly more specific.

‘Exclusive NHS Digital figures obtained by the JPIMedia Data Unit show at least 3,591 people attended A&E in England with a firework-related injury over the Halloween and Bonfire months between 2015 and 2019 – but the fewest in England was in Yorkshire.

The English region that saw the most fireworks-related injuries is the South-East, where 1,060 people found themselves in A&E over the last five Octobers and Novembers. That was followed by London, with 692. Yorkshire and the Humber recorded the fewest visits, at 171’. https://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/health/fireworks-injuries-firefighters-warn-people-to-be-careful-on-bonfire-night-2020-after-3600-people-hospitalised-in-the-past-five-years-3025424

This is factual information, rather than rumour, heresay, and messages from……

Where is the evidence that Bradford, in the region with the fewest firework injuries, should be on the verge of some medical emergency on Bonfire Night.

Happy to consider any verifiable information which says Bradford is totally out of sync with the rest of the Country.

For some reason the old bill seem to think Bradford v Harrogate is a game which will attract the kind of trouble seen for Rangers v Celtic. I know this is "hidden" under the scope of bonfire night but there is absolutely no reason why any of our games with Harrogate needed 1pm kick offs in the past.

It's like the wild west in Bradford on most days, and fireworks are a daily occurance not a once a year thing.

We have played many times on a bonfire night and even if we don't most firework and bonfire displays usually take part on the weekend of the 5th anyhow.

If we were playing say Accrington on this weekend we would have see this game kick off at 3pm.

Still it is what it is, the only reason the other game v Harrogate hasn't been moved is because it's on a Thursday night as it is.

    Just seen the prices,

    Adult (24-64): £10

    Senior (65+): £8

    Young Person (17-23): £8

    Youth (12-16): £5

    Junior (11-): £5

I'm happy with that. Good for a first round cup tie, I'll be going on that basis.

    I also note this,

"Tickets are available on a reserved basis" so the free for all shit fest that will come down the line will be interesting.

Also says ... There is no guarantee for season-ticket holders' seats to be reserved for this game.

Yeah, thats on the basis the upper tiers aren't open and neither in the Midland Road stand, therefore "season-ticket holders" seats can't be reserved on the basis they aren't available for sale.

If you sit on the lower tier and no one else has bought them, then there is no reason why you can't. You'd have trouble buying my seats as they are on the upper tier, and if you sit in block D on the lower tier then I've just bought up two tickets in there.

It's quite clear on the website, however this is the first time they have clearly stated from the off the seats are reserved to those who buy them, unlike before. Personally I'd rather they just sell off tickets and let people sit where they want as it stop all this arguement, but if you select seats you will find people who want to sit there.

Grimsby on Saturday was a free for all, and as my seats were at a level where you couldn't see the far end of the ground I was part of those who just sat anywhere.

Yes just got a couple, our normal seats, others are deciding. Should be four of us. The price is good, however it is the ‘hidden’ additional £1.50, if you buy on line, which is slightly disheartening.
I prefer to see the ‘bottom line’ price at the start.

It probably means that Bradford is likely to have the highest number of firework related attacks on emergency serices

Not what I was told this morning by the ticket office Tony.
I specifically asked that we sit in the allocated seat (our season ticket seats) and was told yes, it's reserved seating as per ticket. So we paid for our seats.

This was covered previously. If your seats are in the sections currently on sale and are free you can buy them, but if someone comes and buys them first you won't have them saved for you.

My seats are in the upper tier hence the "season tickets reserving of seats in not in effect."

Yes, that is correct Edin. My meaning is the same - you sit in your reserved seat a per ticket.
We were fortunate that our seats were still available, so we booked them.
    All good!

I noticed if any replay was to be played, it has been confirmed this game would take place on the 15th November.

As EFL rules says 10% or 2,000 tickets for away allocations, the FA Cup has a rule which allows up to 15%. Now whilst I don't want a replay to happen, as I hope we despatch them at the first go, it will be interesting to see what the police come up with to block any allocation within the rules of the FA. The fall out from Bonfire night?

No mention of ‘law and disorder’ issues. The club website specifically states, ‘due to the availability of medical provisions - including ambulances - to cover the game, ahead of Bonfire Night’. As the Yorkshire and Humberside area has far fewer injuries than other areas, then it seems somewhat disingenuous to suggest that statistically Bradford needs to have in effect entered into a Red Alert state. The game would have concluded by 17.00, long before Bonfire Night enters into full fling, which l would guess would be between 19.00 and midnight.
Does anyone on Bantam Talk work or have family who work in these services, who can objectively explain why Bradford should be out on its own?

Harrogate's ground only holds 5,000 so 600 would still be within the allocation requirements of the FA Cup

If the match goes to a replay, City are entitled to ask for up to 15% of the capacity, which is 750 tickets. Effectively, it is City that decide how many tickets to request and, under the rules, if we ask for 15% (750 tickets) that is what Harrogate should provide.

However, the Safety Advisory Group can override such an allocation and, in this particular case, I would not be surprised if they did. It is seemingly becoming increasingly easy for clubs to influence their Safety Advisory Groups by raising 'concerns' about allocations above what they would normally provide for a league match; this seems to happen quite a bit with Premier League clubs. Fortunately, for us, Chelsea did allow us a full allocation.

    Ignore what I said, I can't do maths. I was thinking 600 was 15%.

I'm not sure where they could put the extra away fans as there didn't seem to be any possible way to segregate between the home stand behind the goal and the side standing bit for home fans and on the side the seated bit nearest the away fan is hospitality so can't put away fans in there.
Looking at last year they gave Wrexham 600 tickets but not sure how many of the upgrades to the ground have happened in the last 12 months as to whether that is comparable to now.

Good luck to those who expect to turn up 5 mins before kick off and sit in your ‘reserved’ seat.
It’ll be similar to away games where barely anyone sits in the seat printed on their ticket.
My advice to anyone who insists that they must sit in their seat is to come early.
