I am watching the game today on iFollow, which means we will certainly win!

Introducing my friend Roman to his first City game.



Earlier this afternoon I did some volunteering for the Frontline Kitchen here in Lviv.

We keep a clean sheet today because I have my goalkeeper shirt on!

 

Smallwood deserves some credit too today. Still looks slow and a bit cumbersome at times but two excellent free kicks for the goal and won plenty of ball in the middle.

He's quick to receive criticism on here so I think we should replicate that when he deserves praise.

 

Regardless of what happens between now and the end of the season.The appointment of Hughes and Hodges have galvanized our club in shed loads.
If you think back to the player, fan detachment prior to them arriving at City it's crazy what the pairing have achieved.
We've found new hero's out there that actually enjoy playing for the club once more.
Lewis and Banks are a fine example of this new found togetherness which was on show at Rochdale yesterday.
We've got our City back.
Proud to be a Bantam.

Sat so close to the pitch and side view today made me appreciate all the hard graft Smsllwood got through today. I thought that was one of his best games for us.

 

Totally agree. We have over the last few weeks shaken off 3 more monkeys on our back. We are now winning at home. We are taking on less talented teams and beating them. Other players are now chipping in with goals.

This is happening bang on time. We are hunting down opposition at the top of the league putting enormous pressure on teams who have been sitting at the top for some time.


I say revel in this form, put a huge Harry Lewis smile on your faces and support the team.

 

How can you not like Harry Lewis? His comments on that video. Cracking keeper and even though I don’t know him, seems an even better person.

 

City have scored 6 goals in 2 games and the cookie monster has scored 1!!! About time the rest of the team chipped in

Excellent view of the away end and second & third goals on this.

 

Big Bobby would alway look up to see if a better option was on.

We attended Bobby Campbell's funeral in Huddersfield and Barry Gallagher did a eulogy for Bobby he said at half time after the managers half time talk as the players were about to leave the dressing room Bobby pushed Barry to one side and said forget what he's just said, you get the ball get down the line and cross it to me, I score and take all the accolades, needless to say Barry did as he was told.

 

And we've got it back because behind the scenes, stephan rupp has sorted out rahics mess, (fortuitously) brought in a manager who can handle the pressure, backed him fully and in the process given us faith.

He may be the quiet one, but if we go up, he deserves a lot of credit.

 

Need to watch out for Henderson - our modern day nemesis aka Keith Edwards, Billy Sharp etc etc

 

Same starting 11 no real surprise, start as we did against Sutton and bring the 3 points home.

 

Agree. Seems overly bitter to me. He fulfilled his contract, always gave his all and had decent ability. He chose to move on. I don’t get the ill will.

 

Defender scores(never happens) from a perfectly delivered Smallwood free kick (rarely happens).

The kid Nevers has looked very lively when introduced.

 

Smallwood's revelled in having Stubbs, Walker and Clayton around. He's got another three 'winners' in the dressing room who take no nonsense / lead by example and so additionally the on field 'management' is shared.

It's significant how Banks has slowly improved since his injury, to arguably be playing better than when he first came in the team. The likes of those four, will have made a difference.

Gilly needs a big mention as well. He must be a nightmare to keep quiet, if you're up against him.

 

Blimey, I thought he was terrific today. Carried the ball forward well several times, put in the hard yards and was still chasing them down in the last five minutes. Incredible engine on him.

 

Some folk on here calling Cook greedy my god can you actually blame him when the majority of the time most of our forward line have been toothless .......... had he not be so called greedy then I doubt we would actually have any chance of going up ............... brilliant today was always gonna be a tough game on paper a team fighting for there lives put to the sword comfortably............ onto Swindon now and I firmly think if we can get another win then I think we will end up in the top 3 come the end of the season
