Strongly urge all those who wish to attend this weekends fixture away at Rochdale, to purchase your tickets ASAP - as they’re selling like hotcakes.

    Holds about 3500 doesn't it?

Still plenty of time I'd suggest.

Still yet to receive a response from Dale and GMP regarding additional allocation/POTD.

    2,200 now sold!

I'm sure Rochdale aren't going to say "nah, we like those seats empty and unpaid for".

GMP might have a say but I can't think of any good reason they'd want to limit the allocation. Especially as all the tickets are in the same stand so it's not like they have to police a separate end to the original allocation.

There was quite a bit of bother inside the ground 3-4 years ago (when we had that good run just before Hopkins lost the plot.
Might influence GMP, but sure the club would snap our hands off if we asked for more

They've never stopped us before. Would be ludicrous when clubs need all the revenue they can get.

They have some financial issues. “Rochdale's most recent home game against Sutton United on 23 October. Attendance: 2,248.
They are certainly not on their own in this but Rochdale's playing budget outstrips the finance generated from ticket sales”. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/58883213
I am fairly certain they would be happy for 2,000+ City fans attending.
There is certainly enough capacity, ‘Away supporters are housed on one side of the Willbutts Lane Stand, where around 1,500 fans can be housed. If demand requires it, then the whole of this stand can be given to visiting fans increasing the allocation to 3,650’. https://footballgroundguide.com/leagues/england/league-one/spotland-rochdale.html

You think Rochdale would sell the other 6500 tickets? :joy::joy::joy:

That was the night they gave the crowd out as about 4,200 or something daft despite there being more fans than seats in the full away end!

Rochdale’s average attendance this season is 2,963. If you say that most visiting teams, for arguments sake, bring 263 fans, add to that another 200 who have season tickets but don’t attended due to other commitments, then it could mean that they only have 2,500 in the stadium. City were allocated 2,626 ‘reserved tickets’. So in theory City fans could outnumber the Dale!
