Ah OK thanks for that-actually on his recent performances I would keep him for next season if he was out of contract. Was immense today.

He runs round like a headless chicken. The irony is that it is probably the reason we are called the bantams, just a team full of ineffective angry little chickens.

Yes as long as we offer him equal or better terms than he’s on now.

I get what you say as it's true, although I generally bang the drum for keeping Sutton, but not because I think he's the next Messi or anything but more along the lines of I'm almost certain he's not a big earner wage wise, he gets stuck in and is at a good age if he can somehow be improved, and at this level we are going to need some squad fillers who are capable of doing a job if needed. Obviously if I'm wrong about his wages then ye he's gone.

It's not relevant and not sure why you're asking but...

ELLIOT Watt has become Stuart McCall’s latest capture after signing a two-year deal.

City beat off competition to secure the Wolves starlet for an undisclosed fee as the transfer window officially opens for business today.

I agree with all of that with maybe 1 exception. I thought Kelleher was not up to standard based on earlier performances, but I thought he did a decent job when Paudie was suspended. First (and only??) time I have seen him play under Hughes and he seemed much improved on earlier outings.

Nah pointless. Sutton just brings energy but lacks quality.

Loads of players like him around that are better and offer more.

Watt has impressed me under Hughes, he dominated Spearing and had he not got a silly red card we’d have won comfortably. Game after against Colchester had we played our full team Watt included it would have been a different story imo and we could have easily been talking about a 5 game win streak to finish instead of 3. It’s evident under Hughes when Watt doesn’t play, credit to the lad because I’ve criticised him a lot earlier in the season but he’s kept his head up. I really hope he stays but won’t be surprised if he doesn’t.

If he's on a relatively low salary then I think he's a good option as a multi role backup. CM areas and RB/RWB. Agree he brings energy, also has ability to knock it past his man and deliver a cross, and with the exception of Vernam he's the only player who gets us up the field rapidly without giving the opposition time to set.

And Hughes likes him. As a midfielder, he's proved himself to be an utterly do or die defender for us at the back. It's a while since I've seen a City defender so regularly put their body - and their health!! - on the line as much Yann over the last ten games. Still has things to learn positionally at centre back, but I reckon MH and Hodges will be working on that alot with him over the summer. For me, he's been one of our most impressive players under MH.

It's tough at decision time. I think Levi Sutton has alot of heart and I like his attitude, but for the automatic promotion side we aspire to be under MH, I wouldn't have Sutton as a squad player. He can't read a game.

I don't think the club would release this video of Paudie if he wasn't going to sign a contract extension.

Leeds certainly wouldn't be facing relegation if they'd kept hold of him.

I suspect a number already on holiday but there was a good turnout of the squad and large turnout of youth players. Don’t think you can read too much into who was or wasn’t there.

Any goals we concede next year will still somehow be ROD's fault.
