Watt has suffered due to adamsszzzz tactics and cooks lack of movement. Give him movement ahead of him and he can play far higher than league 2. He’s looked far better under Hughes with pace and movement head of him.

 

Best of luck to them all, some not good enough and in Cooke’s case probably a fresh start is needed for both parties. We have better now in that position who can score and for whatever reason he’s just not kicked on this season, I think that time under Adams effected him and he’s just not got his form under Hughes like the likes of Watt and Paudie have.

 

He will work hard and has good energy, decent enough squad player our budget doesn’t stretch to 20 odd worldies in the squad

 

Nobody is denying Threlkeld was poor. But the lad is/was clearly suffering from mental health issues. Some might say "so what" but I think the club should stand by and support him. We have seen what happens to some players who dont get support.

I believe both knew but it is the manner in which the club notified them. Its surely professional courtesy to have a 5 minute meeting to explain and thank. Even a phone call.

The biggest problem if watt goes is replacing him ,as everything starts through him at moment although he has no pace he has good control and passing can be good .But at moment gilliaed does all the unseen work running and chasing back and gets a lot of stick but he never hides ,he is a team player definitely worth keeping for the squad next year

On subject of keepers I'd go all out for Conner Ripley released by Preston I think, always thought he was awesome for Oldham not too long back, at 29 so a good age for a goalie.
