Watt plays too deep for me, think he'd be more useful further up playing the killer ball. He's picked up a lot of yellows this season from fouling late when other teams are on the break. We could do with a sort of experienced no nonsense player in there, e.g. songo'o or diaragoua at Morecambe or Anthony Grant at Swindon. As for the retained list I'd only keep Hornby and Scales. The rest can go and yes Wood can go for me, think he became too comfortable in the back end of the season and we need players for a full season, not just part season.

 

Someone else at a different club hopefully.

 

Hornby is at an age, where he needs to play . I dont think that there is much between the keepers ,but Hornby still has time to improve.
AOC has been the most consistant defender , reduced terms.

right here goes. I would question the impact of Canavan. Yes he looked good at first but the last couple of games before he was injured he looked distinctly average at best,,,,,and sllooooowwww

 

Along with Simon Ramsden too.

 

Harry Pritchard just announced on Twitter that he’s been released. I would think the full list will be announced tomorrow.

 

Suspect we will have to wait for Morecambe to have finished their playoff matches first.

Canavan played a big part with Adams at Plymouth

 

But if Wood has gone, who else do we have in that position? He's still young and probably not on massive bucks?

 

Cook is a free agent so may well end up back here. It'd be as good a signing as any at this level but we'd certainly need to up the creativity and support around him if playing one up top.

 

I wonder if Derek Adams has had any input?
