Cannot see us recovering the situation as it stands - awaiting news on the recruitment of expert staff, however, which may change my mind.

 

The way we're currently playing, we don't deserve to stay up. But I think there are at least two or three worse than us ( yes, I know! Hard to believe), so I don't think we'll be relegated. However, narrowly escaping a calamitous drop into the National would only paper over the San Andreas fault of cracks that bedevil our club. New owner, new CEO, new manager. Plus an expanded backroom staff - y'know, like professional clubs do.

 

I think we will sufficiently recover to finish above at least Southend, Stevenage and Barrow, and at the moment that is about the limit of my expectations for this awful season.

 

i think we'll do the same as with L1 and basically sleepwalk right into it. If he keeps Novak fit and his contacts down the jobcentre come through with recruitment help i think we will stay up by the skin of our teeth. Meanwhile, sit back and enjoy yet another consecutive year of embarrassing mismanagement leading to abject surrender on the pitch.

I would be immensely encouraged by the appointment of a permanent DoF and Head of Recruitment, just so long as they have other people answering to them and aren't just doing a Greg Abbott.

We can't just appoint a boy as CEO and hope he fixes everything on his own by magic. Off field issues, fine, but the club doesn't sink or swim based on season ticket promotions.

 

Too soon for this type of thing. The best time to have any idea about whether we will be relegated or not is after our famous January incoming transfers.

Let's hope that by 1 January 2021 we are still in touch of 22nd spot!

Happen.We’ve all been here long enough to know how this current owner has promised so much and delivered so little.Hope this isn’t another one to put in the massively underwhelming column.

 

we're already playing catch up by a couple of points.

the way we are playing, the fact that those around us seem to be picking up points here and there and that there are still 6 games or so before we will bring in any reinforcements (if brought in on day one, which they won't be) leads to the quite realistic possibility that we could be 6 or 7 points behind the rest by the middle of January.

I'm unsure if this squad is capable of chasing people down and making up points on teams above us - especially if they have to play with crowds.

We’ve had 3 shots on target in our last 3 games I believe. If anyone thinks we are staying up with Mcall in charge needs taking away with men in white coats.
Mcall is clueless and will take us into oblivion. Brilliant player - absolutely one of the best. As a manager he’s one of the worst.

 

One has to wonder where you have been since 2018? Suddenly you spring up with all this anti club rhetoric. My spider senses are tingling.

 

Mate, I'm more vocal now because I can’t believe how poor we are. I generally don’t spend a lot of time posting, mainly just taking in various opinions etc. The way the club is run at the moment is a Joke, and If you can’t see that, then there is not a lot more to say.
