    I don't think it will be an appointment, it will someone working on an advisory/consultancy basis.

    I would be surprised if there is any form of announcement.

    I think due to the disconnect and lack of relationship with the fans the club need to announce they have someone on board, even if they don’t say who it is

    As it's a matter of urgency and being a priority in the Club's eyes, you would expect similar in relaying developments to us the fans. After all we are on a knife edge here. Get your fingers out City and honour your commitment to the supporters of this great football club and ... out of respect, let us know what is going on!

    The very fact that this thread is 22 pages and 425 posts would suggest that the subject (although it has gone off topic on several occasions) is one that supporters take seriously and have a genuine interest in.

    No news is not good news!

    I agree with you.

    The club likes to regard everybody connected to the club as part of the BantamsFamily. That includes the bloody paying fans. If another potentially important member is about to join our happy family as SMc has already indicated, I'm sure the rest of the family would like to know asap once it's confirmed.

    I remember Marco Sas being taken off injured in a small red metal wheelchair, it was near bonfire night and some wag screamed out "Penny for the Guy" as he got wheeled off.

    I also remember being at Wigan in 84/85, stood just behind the dugouts at Springfield Park (my dad refused to go into away ends so we always went into the home end) and John Hawley was sat on the bench in his tracksuit, smoking a fag. Yorath told him he was going on so he threw his fag on the floor, stood on it, took off his tracksuit top and ran straight on. Imagine that these days ?

    As CEO at Ebbsfleet although he has football experience I've seen little with regards players, we'll find out when the club make it known, maybe McCall shouldn't have mentioned getting help, as any sort of positivity its obvious fans would want to know who it is, maybe our Christmas Box.

    Whilst being guilty of being one of the people who has gone off topic I agree with this being an important subject.Suspect McCall should have kept his mouth shut regarding help coming in.Think his wording was along the lines of “we are having a meeting on Monday about somebody helping out”
    What if god forbid the meeting comes to nothing and we go on the way we are.They don’t help themselves sometimes.Random videos like the we keep fighting bollox when fight is something we have been sadly lacking all season just shows how distant they have become.Give info when you have it and not until.
