Reality check mid table at best squad

It’s only a few weeks since people were telling us we were a manager short of a top three club. Well people got the choice they wanted what’s happening?

 

We have a bloated no hope squad mate. No team spirit, no passion even Lazarus could not raise this lot dude. It's back to the drawing board.

 

Add a poll with each sqaud member , see which people would like to see here next season , I'd keep

Our saving grace is that so many shit players are out of contract at the end of the season

 

That's a fair point. The squad is poor. But it's a squad at least half built by Bowyer.

 

Novak OR Donaldsom for me. Otherwise I'd agree. I'd also keep Reeves if the terms were cheap enough. And Pricthard.

 

They were saying that before we offloaded two of the best goalscorers in the division. We've now got a set of journeymen up front, firing blanks. The disastrous January window has scuppered any possible chance we had of promotion, whoever took over as manager.
It's utterly absurd that the club allowed Bowyer to dispose of our best two players only days before sacking him.

Anyone who thought this lot was a top three club needs their head examining. Nothing to do with getting a new manager, the ghost of Rahic and Bowyers subsequent hampered recruitment left us with quite possibly the worst squad I've seen at City.

 

The new manager bounce has end quicker than a deflated balloon. Hope it doesn’t spread to home form next week

I thought you had a little more football nonce mate, for a longer time fan your as fickle as some of the others on here who's opinions carry little credibility, so after telling us all the manager must be given time, that only applies to anyone and everyone bar Stuart McCall, he's 5 games in his tenure trying to get the best out of players he had no say in bringing to the club, come on get real.

 

Then they are fools, utter fools. But then there were people here who constantly berated others when they rightly pointed out that this team wasn't good enough. Idiots clinging on to the fact that because we were in the playoffs talk of anything else was just pointless negativity.

I am not after sacking Stuart not at all. Just pointing out there has been no new manager bounce and no improvement when many so called knowledgeable posters were saying all we had to do was get rid of Bowyer

 

Funny how other fans see things so differently, I posted when Grayson took over for his short spell at our club he was handed a poison chalice, and unfortunately 3 manager later that is still the case IMO, McCall has to get rid of all the players he see's as not having a future at the club.
It might be difficult as Bowyer found out to get rid of some of our high earners/long contracted players, but he has to be allowed to bring his own players in.
I'm not sure with whats gone on at our club over the past 3/4 seasons we can rid ourselves of whats gone wrong, but for the sake of us fans he MUST be allowed that condition, if he then fails there are not excuses.

 

I really don't get you park, you seem to be getting enjoyment out of our poor season, either that or your on a wind up ?.

 

Bowyer needed to go for the good of the club.

The club should have sacked him earlier
