Back on Saturday mate, walking around the house without sticks but I'll take them down to the game with me those bloody steps in the Sunwin stand must be a foot high, but there's always Jimmy Cuthbertson and Ian Cooper ready to catch me pull me up stood in the alse way at the top .

 

Hope it goes well , I remember well when the shackles came off after 6 weeks ( different leg op ) stairs were always the worst. Honestly Dave get some help even if it’s “shadow” support. Give the club a call and explain the situation perhaps?

 

I'm only 4/5 rows down from the top of the passage so I think at most theres only 4 steps to maneuver and I use the lift to get to level two, we live in a bungalow which I told the physio when she said before I could be discharged I had to go up and down a flight of stairs, she wasn't having any of it,

First game back for me after a knee replacement 5 weeks ago. Stairs will be ok but sitting with it bent will be a bugger. Hopefully plenty to stand up and cheer about though

 

Good man, apparently a hip replacement is not as bad as a knee replacement, where we sit the seats are that little bit bigger and you have an extra inch or two more with regards knee space, but I alway get plenty of exercise when fans leave early to get a beer 5 minutes before half time then the same fans come back 5 minutes after the second half has started and offer a "sorry" no your not you do it every week .

 

Had the other one done just before the Chelsea game... couldn't get in my seat and the stewards told me I had to leave the ground. Luckily on the way out I spoke to a police officer who found me somewhere to stand otherwise I'd have missed it

 

Police were worried you were gonna go on a wrecking spree outside so wanted to keep an eye on you!

 

Must have been the crutches... potentially offensive weapons

That was shocking, one or two have suggested having a word with the club but as I say I use the lift both up and down and make sure I'm in my seat early so its not a problem to others and were sat right at the end of the row so I have been waiting till the referee put the extra time up then left early (yes shocking isn't it) daughter has my Blue Disabled Badge and she parks as near the Sunwin entrance as possible were usually well clear before the hords start coming out.
