There is obviously going to be some strong reaction to our moronic fan sections behaviour at Crewe.
The league are going to hammer the club and quite rightly
    This has to stop NOW.
I am afraid they make it no longer an enjoyable experience going to watch City and that is before you start on the football.
We need these poisonous people removing from our club.
Angry, you bet I ******* am.

I always hate the celebratory tone of the chavy “ always remember the 56” chant which should also be banned. It’s cheap and isn’t the correct way to remember those who lost their lives

Who are these blinkered people who think it's only our fans? I doubt that anyone is that naive. The fact that some other clubs' fans let off smoke bombs doesn't make it any less reprehensible that ours do.

Anyone still think pyros add anything apart from 14 minutes of added time for a Crewe winner?

What are you on about? I doubt it's Rochdale fans setting off Orange Pyros in a pub.

As for the chanting, yes thats been looked into and two wrongs here don't make a right.

The reason they put up cages in grounds was due to a small section of fans acting like hooligans.
The reason you can't have a beer in your seat like at rugby is due to a small section of fans who who can't behave.
The reason you can't have the bottle top with your coke from the tea bar is due to a small section of fans throwing them onto the pitch.
The reason the game is moved to 1pm is due to a small section of fans going out and looking for trouble.
The reason we are blocked from leaving on midland road is due to a number of idiots dashing their after the game to cause a scene with away fans.
The reason we get a reduced allocation for Doncaster in future is due to flares in the concourse, people trying to climb from the side stand to behind the goal and people running on the pitch.

If History has shown us anything it's that the actions of the few tend to make the rules for the many as we go forward.

Oh dear. I think you need to take a good look at what you have said and then go research what actually happened because what you have said is an insult to the people that died that day.

Do you really believe this nonsense? That was the original line briefed to the Sun by the police authorities and certain politicians to pin the blame on drunken, unruly football fans. Not surprisingly, a subsequent review by another police authority supported the original briefing. Twenty plus years on, it took an Independent Inquiry acting on behalf of Parliament to finally get to the truth and further criminal action for the police officers in charge of policing on the day to admit that it was their actions and not those of Liverpool fans which led to 96 deaths. No blame was attached to the Liverpool fans by the Independent Inquiry or by several coroners contradicting the lies originally provided by the police.

And still some idiots to this day attempt to say otherwise! If you wish to educate yourself, read the report of the Hillsborough Independent Panel as accepted by Parliament. Or maybe you'll be better suited to reading the Sun's own apology to the Liverpool fans who they originally blamed for the tragedy.

So yesterday, after a very poor first half performance BCAFC come out of the gates second half and have Crewe rattled, we score 2 quick goals after half time and have all the momentum.

Morons do their bit in delaying the restart of the game by hurling pryos onto the pitch, fighting with stewards and the police and the referee calls the two captains over, everyone goes over the the sideline and Crewe have time to regroup with their manager and all the momentum City had is sacked out of the game.

BuT PyRoS Add to THe AtMoSpHeRE......

Morons the lot of them. I'd be happy for these idiots to be publicly shamed and their faces posted all over today's T&A.

From what I could see from the Pyros tonight they looked like actual flames were coming out of the buckets that the stewards were using to remove them from the pitch.

The morons have nothing between the ears.

I would have no problem at all dobbing them in. I was there last night and I'm still seething about their behaviour and it's consequences for the result.
The difficulty is that peaceful, law-abiding fans who don't want any trouble do their best to stay away from the numbnuts who throw pyros, rip up seats etc. I stood with @Bigrod@Bigrod last night, deliberately well away from the idiots, so as to avoid being caught up in any aggro. So it's impossible for most reasonable supporters to actually know who is responsible. I suspect that those older fans who choose to stand near the troublemakers are unlikely to be dobbing them in and may well be encouraging them.

It does seem absurd that we constantly see women's bags being searched outside away grounds yet the young idiots who smuggle pyro devices in seem to do it with impunity.

    Is anyone praising the pyros?
If anything I don't blame the extra time added to the game, I blame the 5min where we have Crewe totally rattled and in those 5min the manager has the chance to calm them down with a sideline chat due to morons delaying the game and the adrenaline rush is over.

The main frustration about the pyros last night was not so much the added time (and I agree with your point there) but how the delay in restarting the match allowed time for Crewe to reorganise and as a consequence all forward momentum we had gained was lost. Would this still have happened without the pyros, that we will never know.

Within a football stadium, the stadium is in the main made of concrete and non flammable material and the stand are in the open air (although there has been a trend of setting them off in the concourses recently).

In a pub, you are in a place where people are minding their own business with various flammable material scattered across the place in an enclosed space. I mean beyond having shit for brains, what is between the ears?

What a game that was. Pure jubilation, happiness and excitement overflowing from the stands. What made this invasion different was that no Peterborough players were attacked (from what you could see and nothing reported). The issue in recent years is we’ve seen a sinister edge to fan behaviour creeping back in, with players being attacked and threatened. Difficult to gauge which way it will go.

Faux outrage at it's best. There was no intent to hurt anyone and they had just witnessed the greatest come back in play off history. It's totally understandable what happened and any sanctions would effectively be sanctions on "human nature" rather than for breaking the law.

I damn sure, in the same circumstances, the same would have happened at every single EFL club.

By coincidence Steve, i had to explain this very thing to my wife who was under the impression it was caused by Liverpool fans without tickets as she has little interest in football and din't know of the campaign by Liverpool fans to seek justice over the huge cover up by Thatchers government, South Yorkshire police and gutter press like the sun newspaper. But that was par for the course in the 80s, the working classand football fans treat like scum.

I've just checked back on the Champions League Final thread. It seems I have mixed you up with another couple of posters who have blatant anti-scouser prejudice. Profuse apologies Loyal. My bad.
