In true City 2025 form, I wouldn't be surprised if we lose Saturday, win on Thursday to pretty much seal Notts as a PO team, lose to Chesterfield when they have sod all to play for anymore, then go and beat Donny on the final away day of the season.

That's them done really, isn't it? Would need to win their last four and rely on others which would require a big change in form. Good news for Colchester though.

Notts Co v Salford tonight. Let's hope the Ammies do us a favour, don't want Notts Co breathing down our necks again ahead of tomorrow's fixtures

 

Salford don’t travel very well and their away form is in line with ours which is poor.
They have recently beaten Bromley and Grimsby away though which are tough places to win so there is hope they can hold Notts tonight.
If they do and we win tomorrow we can put Notts out of the frame for the autos next Thursday.

 

Yeh be nice if Salford can get the 3pts tonight so they keep their play off hopes alive and go all out against Doncaster in their game in hand. A draw would be fine too.

I don't see Walsall getting much at Barrow, hopefully Doncaster and Wimbledon play out a draw but I have already accepted Port Vale picking up the 3pts against Bromley.

We really need to find our away form, its in our hands. Another defeat on the road and play offs is likely IMO, a win and we look great for autos, even the title. A draw wouldnt be a disaster but depends on other results.

 

I just look at that Accrington result and ask how? We didnt lay a glove of them yet Fleetwood and Bromley have put 4 past them since. Gillingham have 6 draws since they beat us too. Big points dropped there.

 

I don’t even think form will play a part in the promotion race. Nerves however will.

 

A draw for Salford tonight would be great for us, especially if we get are 1 win in 4 away from home tomorrow and with Donny and the Wimbledon playing each other tomorrow
Things go our way we could be 5 ahead of rovers and 7 ahead of county and Wimbledon

 

Isn't it great to be able to discuss these permutations.
Whatever happens over the next few weeks the team under the management of Alexander and Lucketti have certainly put smiles back on Bradfordian faces.
Long may that continue.

 

Sounds great but for balance, we could also drop to third, be 3 points off first and on equal points with Donny in 4th, who still have a game in hand.

 

Notts County not winning tonight would be huge for us. We're at the stage of the season where these types of matches are almost as important as ours.

If they win, and we fail to win, it means they could leap-frog us in 6 days when we play them. Nobody wants or needs those types of nerves going into that match.

 

I am still suffering with this bad neck, so have no balance
