I am feeling generous today, so limited my criticism of the dark side
They don’t normally get off that easy

 

Walsalls largest sponsor in their corporate history “ Poundland “ , has pulled the plug . Failure and media interest for the wrong reason has taken its toll?

 

I don't think it's anything to do with on the pitch, the deal was expiring at the end of this season and Poundland has had financial issues as has their parent company who are looking to sell Poundland

 

Do we think they would have continued therefore, if they got promoted with even more TV coverage and more public exposure down the track ? ( I know about Poundlands troubles btw ). Businesses in trouble don’t forgo public exposure completely as it aids a sale . I suspect they have pulled the plug because they wanted that additional exposure ?

 

Saw a guy in Spain today wearing a Walsall shirt. What’s the term for people who love shame and humiliation?

I think it's easy to pick that up in isolation....it was August and thoughts based on the squad AT THAT TIME!! I whole heartedly believe that without the January window and the strength in depth that we then had, we would not have finished third.....
