Yeah I agree. As I said no guarantee of champions league football which they want.
I am more interested to see these other deals and pretty certain the other clubs won’t fold until they know of other proposals

Just 5 eh? How many clubs votes do they need for this to be passed?

    Read the proposal again.

It gives power 9 clubs. So 5 clubs needed for it go through.

@Rogered Tart@Rogered Tart I think what he really meant to say was that it requires 14 votes out of 20 (two-thirds) to agree to a change in the PL's own rules. ;)

It's a little more complicated than @Fordy117@Fordy117 simply saying the proposal requires another 5 votes for it to pass. One of the proposed 'Big 9' has already said they don't agree with the proposal!

I await the second proposal next week/month.

Look, from a EFL point of view it's bad news. In your end you are not understanding clubs need the money now.

You won't be laughing if a super league is formed with no money to the EFL. You do understand the government won't allow fans back this season...You do understand that will cost Bradford City and the likes at least 500k plus meaning clubs will go under.

I don't care who is in control of football.

I guess you didn’t read it. Not that I’m shocked. A bail out package for league one and league two is expected to dealt with this week

From the premier league I believe. They are set to announce it for league one and league two (I imagine because salary cap is in place) and then negotiate a separate one for championship

Says who? I believe it when it happens.

Cambridge Chairman says it's not going to just happen like that and called on the government.

You're dreaming if you think the PL are just handing over 250m

Its being widely reported by many that an EFL package is on its way and currently being negotiated. It was reported as soon as the meeting finished by the telegraph, the times and the athletic.
Don’t worry I think I’ve counted 3 climbdowns you’ve had to make this week. I’ll await for the 4th.
Where have I ever said they will just give us 250 million? Of course it’s going to have strings attached. I have said from the word go that this is not the deal we want giving away any power and closing the league off. And reducing it to 18 teams.
There is talk of now two other proposals. Let’s see what they offer. I am glad we didn’t sell out to the first one like you wanted. I wonder if that’s because it was concocted by your beloved Liverpool?

Well only those that need it will take some.

Maybe, Bradford City can take 1.5m and tell Rupp to f+ck off

    Correct No exceptions.

Do what a lot of businesses do, reform the business, change the name (slightly) and start again (minus the creditors of course).

Surely every club needs it? That was the panic and scare mongering we got this week?

I think it's a bit short sighted myself.

A society that apathetic would not have much international appeal.
