The oppositions they might. We have done it in highlights in a few of the games. Gives a slanted view probably.

Absolutely right Dave. The festive season tends to sort out the wheat from the chaff.

Points in the bank for the second half of the season is very important because every team has a bad run at some stage

It benefits the beneficiaries of the pension fund

How long is left on the stadium rent deal?

do we get an option to buy ground back at the end of it?

or are we tied into 400k indefinitely?

I don’t think anyone is arguing against that. I’m suggesting, there’s a clue“ wheat from the chaff” , that we will know our form against other teams after having played them either home or away around that time. Likewise we will know how the main challengers are fairing at the same time.

I think the point that your missing is that flamingo land and the pension fund are two different things. What benefits flamingo land won't necessarily benefit the pension fund and the pension fund is bound by certain legal obligations.

You could have a fair point but you need to focus on the pension fund not the flamingo land theme park.

Beneficiaries as in those receiving pension payments? You're going down a rabbit hole here...

I believe the second admin was in 2004 and Gibb bought the ground around that date, so I say the deal runs until 2029.
I don't think the agreement allows us the right to buy back the ground, yes the rent will continue to rise as its written into the present agreement every so many years the rent we pay is reviewed, win win for the Flamingo Land Pension Fund.

From what Ive seen posted on here (and contrary to what i initially thought) the pension is the Gibb Family pension not the Flamingoland Pension Scheme so there is no link between the two other than GG owning a controlling share in the Ltd Company that Flamingo land trades under.

    When did the transfer happen?

It was definitely originally owned by the flamingo land pension scheme.

What’s hard to understand. Now that historical differences are out of the way a sponsorship by Flamingoland who’s owners are going to benefit from the pension fund which own Valley parade could benefit both parties giving the links it makes sense

Gibb likes us that much he'll end up giving us the ground for free or summat.

I just wish Park had said that 5 posts ago. It'd have saved me all that time.
