Another football cliche I'll review it after 10 games, were all guilty of reading things to suit our situation but realistically it has to be around Christmas/New Year, you'll have a good idea around then if you'd going to have a successful season or not.

Feeling quite positive about the direction the Club is taking. Ryan obviously is a person of integrity and he has assembled a like minded team that is really making progress in attracting business interest and matching the drive and energy shown on the pitch. If he continues to make progress we will be in the best position financially than for a number of years. I hope success on the pitch will help increase the viability further and finally put us on the front foot in believing again.

    Go on then, I'm listening.

How could a football club promoting it benefit the flamingo land pension fund more than £400k a year?

But Flamingo Land don’t own the ground, it’s the pension fund. At the moment the pension fund is guaranteed £400k a year (or whatever) in income.

The trustees have a legal duty to act in the best interests of the pension fund’s beneficiaries. A legal duty. They can’t say we’ll half the rent to put Flamingo Land on the front of the shirts or name the stadium the Mumbo Jumbo Stadium after one of their rides unless Flamingo Land pays the difference. For the same reason they can’t sell it unless they can realistically get a better return by investing elsewhere the money realised by the sale.

Please don't correct him. I'm all ears over here waiting to hear his big ideas.

    It's been a while so I'm assuming it's a huge post he's drafting up.

No idea, just the first one I came across which was about 5 minutes long.

Either way though I can't see either side editing out shots on target?

You don't understand how a pension fund works do you?

I'd imagine it's highly illegal to direct funds from it for a bit of self indulgence.

Told you once, doesn't need to have anything to do with their pension fund, i'm talking about any 2 independent businesses in a tie up..

Because flamingo land has a budget for promoting itself and West Yorkshire is a major area that people visit from you only have to look how he tried to exploit it whilst he was here. And a sponsorship deal with the club in which his pension fund is the landlord would make sense

The rent for the ground is paid to the pension fund and rent for the ground is the topic being discussed.

Apologies for not realising that in your reply to the post about the ground rent you'd just made up a completely different topic and expected us all to follow on.

    How does it make sense?

The pension fund gets the same amount regardless of the football club profits.

Because the attraction gets the promotion and the football club gets extra money towards the rent a mutual beneficial arrangement
